I have a mario hack I'm making, based off of mustacheless mario. I think it's the model that's acting up. Basically, whenever he goes into the off screen bubble, the game slows down and the HUD vanishes when he comes back in. This ONLY happens when fighting lucario.
Is there any way to fix this?
(BTW, if it's not the model, it's the PSA, but I think it's the model doing it)
I've already made a vertex/texture hack over mario to make him look close to Quote (unreleased). Now I'm making a PSA to go with it:
Only the special moves will be changed.
Neutral B (air and ground) - Quote pulls out his Polar Star (ray gun) - Done - I was going to make it a random chance (10% cracker launcher (Super missile), 30% machine gun (super scope) and 60% polar star) I may try again, but the first attempt didn't work.
Side B (air and ground) - Quote fires a fireball from his Fireball. - Done - Basically, the same thing as Mario's neutral B, but he fires the ball from a gun.
Down B (air and ground) - Quote pulls out a super scope - Done - If I get the Neutral B working as intended, I'll replace this with something else, though I have no idea what a replacement move might be
Up B - Quote uses his Booster to fly upwards. - Not started - The Booster will be a vertexed FLUDD.
-The completed hack package will include texture edits of the ray gun, super scope, and cracker launcher. -It could also include a stage to go with it (I already have 2 cave story stages done. Arthur's house, maybe?) -And a music hack to make the Mario victory song the "Got a health capsule" song.
I'm using an enemy from SSE for one of my stages. However, the texture on the part I'm using (the rest is covered by another model) is shiny, and I don't know how to change it. It's the final bug on the stage before I release it, and I really want it fixed. There were four textures, and I made every one transparent save the main body texture. It's this enemy:
I've made a stage over final destination that's supposed to be the battle area from paper mario 64 using stage editor blocks. However, every time I try to use it, it freezes. Can someone help (also, I know it's not the file size)?
I have recently been trying to get Zack (form zack and wiki) working as a brawl character. His model works ingame, however, his bones are not named the same way as in brawl, and thus he stays in his T-stance
I noticed that the bones aren't even grouped the same way.
So, some questions:
1. Can I rename the bones without brawl crashing (I haven't tried renaming, so I'd like to know beforehand)? 2. If I DO rename the bones, will he animate correctly with the brawl animations? 3. Can he go over someone who is not the alloys?
I've been working on a project to replace the beta block (unused, the bump thing) into lava and water. The models work fine, but the collisions are.... off.
When jumping into either block, instead of entering water or getting damaged, you go through the block AND THE BLOCK BELOW. When near lava, there is an invisible block with the properties of lava like this:
