I didn't get that Half Life joke, so it's not funny. If this is the same MarioDK from years ago, your English has improved immensely.

Now seriously though, no one is working on the 5.5.1 downgrade? To me it's like "Ok well we are good, so [censored] everyone else" mentality. I will literally pay [censored]s to do it for me. I just don't want to buy a second Wii U, when I already have one...

Thr current 5.5.1 exploit is currently closed source, since releasing it will 100% yield a system update that patches it. Right now we really just need to force the game to load patched files thru the SD slot, by figuring out how to patch that into the game's RPX, and then load the edited RPX with the 5.5.1 ELF loader. It's easier said than done though, and I have no ETA since I'm not personally working on that.

I am still mostly doing proof of concept stuff, and handing it off for others to finish what I've started for most things. My main focus now is model stuff. I have vertex injection figured out, but I'm working on injecting vertex weights for my primary task. Mainly, my plan is to be able to take existing models in game of assist trophies, Pokémon, and other NPCs, and rig them to the bones of whoever we'd want to do a complete swap over. I'm working on Blaziken, Infernape, Garchomp, and Hydreigon to renew some of my imports from my Brawl days. I'm almost there, but there's something extra rather than just changing the bone IDs and weight ratios for each vertex.

I mainly want to have as much research finished as possible so that everyone can easily transition their experience from Brawl modding over to Smash U.

Other things I've finished are nus3bank injection, IDSP building, someone is writing a tool for music setting edits based on my research for music expansions, costume specific sound banks, costume expansion, CSS repositioning, SSS repositioning, probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.
Nice to know progress is happening instead of we are in the blind about all of this


for sm4sh modding i am hoping animation edits/maybe convertor from brawl to sm4sh some how so we can port our mods easier too will be possible too if not i dont mind redo my Goku Animations anyways(possible the first one i will do or Geno or might aswell get it over with: Shadow)
maybe a Sm4shBox (brawlbox but for smash 4)

too bad there is too much drama going on with the WiiU hax for 5.5.1
each time i look on gbatemp
more useless posts about people asking when its released
so it seems like the Devs of those hacks has left gbatemp
so now we know nothing and no update progress or anything
so im guessing the release date of the WiiU 5.5.1 hack is same time as half life/portal 3

You gotta test this, with no leg issues and stuff and show us the end result to boggle our minds.

When we do achieve modding perfection for Wii U the first big project before PM style stuff has to be Ice Climbers. Who didn't love playing as them?

And if we get them to work in 3DS Nintendo will have some explaining to do.

I just wanna put that thought out there.
Ice climbers / Snake / Wolf return to smash 4(both versions) without replace any charaters
Should be the first projects (for me i will possible port / abit revamp of my moveset to smash 4 anyways)

so smash 4 has the possible to be more mod friendly then Brawl is?
i mean like for port  projectiles from charater to charater(as i dont even think we can in brawl: has kinda just returned to the forums so not followed up so much on this)
and port like bayo´s down-B counter for slow time to others & maybe other charater´s special Grap/whatever

not sure if i make it to a Brawl mod or not but can easy do that since it is mostly Brawl mario boneset anyway(with Smash 4 mario´s head bones for mouth animetions)

also: this does not mean i return 100% return to the forums but not making movesets
but might fix the DL links i have for my Mods since alot of broken and still have most of my mods in my USB HDD

i have planed to Not Release Goku Right after its Done
but planed to Release Goku/Vegeta/Gotenks updates
becuase Vegeta/Gotenks updates is kinda already like 90% done becuase not so much do to with them

anyway:
how to use Down-B since its complete new/revamped:
Press Down-B and Hold "B": The Homing like attack and if press up or to the SIdes or Down Goku will do the UP/Back/Front or NAir attack(not down since it not worked well) or if SSJ mode: Kamehameha wave that direction you pressing

Press Fast Down-B and not Hold "B": Almost the same as if pressing Fast Down-B but
this time it will not work like as a Homing attack this time it works as a Counter attack
also If you Failed to not Press Fast the First Frames of: Press Down-B and Hold "B" will still works as a Counter attack but not many frames

will use the same Coding for my Shadow´s up to date Moveset as that was basically needing this & FS to be finished and since i have Shadow´s FS coding on SMBZ mario(almost) and Side-B/up_B coding on Goku so i can say that moveset is also kinda close to be done so Goku/vegeta/Gotenks/SHadow is them i possible will finish up becuase they are the closest(i think) rest will be uploaded to a .zip on BV with sorted out files and TODO list on each Mod for whats is left
aswell as some of my future moveset ideas i had like the minecraft one

here is what needing But Goku is fully playable(Not Freezing the Game atleast) but he needing some stuff still in this version:
-a Real SSJ/Kaioken mode: Right now Down-taunt just replaces Down_B/Side-B with SSJ version and nothing else

-model fixes, mouth rig & make the alts for Ingame so right now there is only 1 model

-Right now there is no Down-throw becuase i was needing to finish the model´s face rig before it was possible to animate that so dont use that down throw is going to be: Solar flare(like SSBF2)

-Side-smash´s animations is still needing to be done
right now its a placeholder was planing to make SSBF2´s side-smash(or kinda its also the Mii Figher Brawler´s aswell since they are close to each other) (i will be really glad if somebody made this animation for me so it looks good)

-balacing & animate face onces the moveset&model is like 99% done

-make more startlag on Side-B(longer start animation) again i was making it to work little like Mii Figher Brawlers Side-B named: Onslaught (has planed Goku´s side-B Before Miis got comfirmed same with side-Smash)

-do so "B" attack cant be used unlimited times in air
and Fix N-B Loading if looking up/Down

-maybe change the Dashattack to something else but kinda wont do it since SSBF2´s Goku dashattack is on Gotenks and Vegeta also having that attack as  F-air attack and trying not to give goku/vegeta/Gotenks/Buu not the same kind of attacks

-Finish Taunts(dont use up/side taunt: t-pose)&Wins&afew grap animations

-Port to Project:M 3.5 aswell maybe even over Roy via brawlEX (becuase Roy is a Fire Marth Clone anyway)

-port to Smash 4: sadly this is not possible so we have to wait

ps. i have abit more up to date version of Goku v2 but its not playable yet so i released the version i had on my dropbox

this^ i was looking forward to that game
also its a shame that many great hackers are leaving these days.. i'd take one of those projects but i've got my hands full, so maybe in a near future.
the game kinda got canceled and kinda not
becuase first i planed that smash ripoff but then i was thinking on a other game idea that i could make out of my Smash like game and now im working on that idea instead: A Time Travel Simulator basically(hard to expain the gameplay but it has alot with travel in Time&Space(mainly just Earth for now)

glad to hear goku v2 is still in the works, frankly i can't wait until people get into modding smash4 wii u, though i imagine its gonna be a few years, anyway good luck on whatever you wish to do next after this.
i dont think Smash wii U will have modding
i mean first the wii U needs to be hacked and thats is not even close to be done yet
and Emulator for wii U i dont think will be possible/be made until what we call High-End PC today and what specs a high-end PC having
will be inside a cheap laptop in the future before a wii U emulator that can play wii u games is possible

so no hopes for Smash wii U modding here
and almost the same for 3ds but thats other reasons:
basically becuase brawl modding is dead and i dont think brawl modding will be turned to 3ds modding and the old ppl from brawl modding returns to mod 3ds version and most of the new comers on kc-mm is ppl who request stuff but never try to make self/make lazy model imports bad rig and so on/Sonic fan charaters recolours of sonic or shadow and thats it rarely a moveset uploaded or a super awesome looking model import/stege anymore
so whats is the hopes for 3ds gets the same kind of mods as Brawl get if brawl modding is dead and if we get Wii U hacked and mod support for Smash wii U its still same problem as on 3ds/brawl

and after Goku v2/my UnFinished Stuff pack i might do alittle Minecraft modding
mainly to train myself in Java/Javascript for learn afew more Coding language got ideas for 3 simple mods for MC nothing big stuff

i wondered why i never received the buu models for the psa i wanted to do. lol. now i know. its cuz you didnt really finish the psa you were making.
yes right now Buu only has "A" attacks coded(i think) and Animations made but still some left

what are those unfinished WIPs?, (being honest I only came for goku lol)
-Dalek moveset: i am kinda still able to finish it but kinda ran out of ideas for the moveset xD
after all it is a bad voiced Trash can that yell EXTERMINATE!!!! and shoots lasers so kinda hard to think of a moveset to something like that
might aswell make a magikarp/metapod moveset (yes daleks does not have so much to offer for a SSB moveset but its the one that has the most to offer from Doctor who )

-Naruto moveset over olimar and shadow clones over pikmins:
all "A" attacks should be coded and most of the moveset was meant to be based on SSBFlash2 naruto

-Majin buu moveset(mainly a revamp of the one sdo0m did for Kid buu but this one is more based on super buu mixed with Kid buu so it fits for both models)

-yet a other Shadow but more up to data what is possible with brawl modding
like homing attack,better controlable teleport and so on and a super sonic like FS(or more like Yoshi´s with shooting chaos spears instead of Fireballs)

-Gotenks/Vegeta updates/fixes (might do them myself aswell and maybe shadow aswell)

-Luffy moveset: was first mine&epic pervy´s project but then he gave me his files and now im not sure if i will be able to finish it

-kinda SMBZ mario next version but never really started on it but it was just to do so the cape had bone physics and more alt models&powerups alt models and a chargeble Fireball like in the SMBZ series mario charged up a fireball like as goku´s kamehameha

-same with SMBZ sonic v2 only made afew animations for it but never really started on it

and afew model imports for the movesets and as oneslot
and the Going Merry(onepiece) Stage over pirate ship and FD stage with a Tardis flying in the background
was also about to Finish a Assist Trophy: The Tardis over Shadow Assist Trophy

also never started on the Minecraft moveset but might aswell give a detailed Moveset idea list for that in the unfinished Stuff pack since the moveset is not just a Steve model swinging around with a diamond sword
but also inc. crafting,Redstone,other tools from MC

dont have posted here for a while but i think its about time you guys gets some updates of whats happening with my hacks:
i have basically lost my motivetion on Brawl modding
since i got more motivetion do some coding for a small project/playing Sm4sh wii u/IRL stuff/anything else but mod brawl

but since i know there is a big chance for alot of my WIPs will not be finished by me

i will be sorting out my WIP files for brawl mods(there is alot of files around my PC/USB HDDs and so on so this will take alittle time)
and make TODO list on what is left for each mod
and release them on brawlvault as Mariodk´s unfinished stuff

but Goku v2 will be finished by me still basically just SSJ/Kaioken mode left now
and 2-3 animations revamps + get the alt models ready for ingame use
