Next time just tell them how to do It instead of doing it for them. People like that need to learn that they can't be lazy on rely on others for something that they have no excuse for not having.
Can we make It so that people who have never posted a topic before need to have their topics approved before they appear? Lately, all that have been getting posted in the character texture and vertex hacks section are topics that don't belong there. It's getting annoying.
You guys crossed the "user friendliness" line back around when popups were mentioned.
I don't think people who don't follow the rules deserve a "user-friendly" interface. The things suggested would only be for people who have never submitted to the Brawlvault before, and only until they have enough approved hacks on their vault. Obviously people who have a lot of approved hacks on their vault don't need to have these things happen since they know what the rules are. It's only for people who haven't shown that they know what the rules are.
http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=28053 This user put KTH's rigs over another character, uploaded them, and claimed them as his own. I checked both the upload and KTH's original, and they are identical in textures, models, and rigs.
Honestly, so what If he used the same models as KTH? KTH didn't make those models as far as I know. And even If he did, the user had to re-rig the whole model over another character to get It to work. He only needs to credit KTH If KTH made the models.
I was thinking a popup menu should show every time a person submits a hack that shows the rules. They would have to click "i have read the rules" in order to contuine.
I actually had the idea of It being like a quiz. Where people have to answer questions about what the rules are. If they fail the quiz, they haven't read the rules and therefore cannot submit.
Huh. I don't get it. The point of this thread is to take requests. Basically to get someone else to make perfect posed portraits for you. It's like going to a bar and ordering a Natural Lite when they're giving away Heineken for free.
Not only that, but the quote he was responding to had nothing to do with what he said.
We need a gigantic banner at the top of the forum that says "STOP TELLING US YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS VIEWING THE VAULT! WE ALREADY [censored]ING KNOW!" And have those words link to ASF1nk's solution.
