16  Help & Tutorials / Help / Can Someone help me Re Map This? on: September 23, 2012, 08:08:40 PM
Okay, so....the original models hands were far from t-posed. However I found another pair of hands that are from the same game and I've decided to just retexture those. however there's a bit of a problem.

I need to make This

Look like this(texture wise)

I may have to just make a new material but the way the image is mapped is kind of confusing on how to set it up.

Joke: meeeehhh......
BTW I found Young Samus's head :/
Can anyone retexture brawl samus's hands so they look like the gloves?
I could t-pose the Young samus's hands, but that'd take a long time XP
Easier to just retexture ZSS's hands from brawl.
Also, 3DS max doesn't want to read the images for young samus's radio thing on her head...

In fact, if you'd be kind enough to re-texture brawl samus's head/neck/hands....
*nudge nudge wink wink*
(I just need the head and neck)
I love spriters resource XD
Oh and I found some other fun models too :3 but I'll save those for later.

Just the cape. Everything works perfectly.
Are you gonna do the Thousand Year Door symbol like the cape has in the opening?
Or is that impossible XD

It looks like its a very low-vert model... lol its good enough

Yeah, it's not so much that it's low vert, it's low vert in all the wrong places >_<
Nintendo lazy asses lol

Also...I WOULD do faces if someone would be kind enough to vertex his mouth to the different faces for me. That's about the only (very tedious XD) task keeping me from doing various faces on my import. :3 of course credit given where it's due, colab Smiley

ehhh...I'm satisfied, as long as the top knuckles of the fingers look the same as the middle knuckles then that's good for me :3

Wrist is a bit better too, i think at least..
23  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: September 23, 2012, 02:16:25 PM
fingers look nice, but the wrist looks a bit weird, try touching that a bit up
:3

The thumb is a bit off too I think, I think I know how to fix the wrist, at least to the best I can with the models limits. Adding vertexes to anywhere else is easy, but the wrists and fingers are a pain in the but lol also...I have no clue how to fix that random vertex on the neck :/

(Also if anyone wants ANBU kakashi still I might make him next over a sword user so someone can psa them with the sword. )

the joints in the middle of the fingers look too flat. select the flat/edge verts, and hit the "Blend" button with the #Nb finger bones.

Ah I hardly use the blend tool XD I should make a habbit of doing that lol

Okay, I need a real opinion on this from some of you 'better' riggers out there. I've sort of come up with an easy/quick formula that I use for rigging the hands from Clash of Ninja Wii(any game in the series) models. And I'm wondering something.

^Is that acceptable considering the limitations of the model?

u should even kno that Okami doesnt use CHR0 or SRT0 data either... whats in those files arnt animations at all.
Actually...I didn't know that...
Maybe those files are the 'psa' data of those characters or something, figuratively speaking.

Meh, it didnt bother me that much, it doesnt always happen, sometimes it happens, but not enough for me to want to make another version. I will if enough people complain about it though.
You do realize how close that platform is to a certain location in SM64 is don't you Im srs here

BJ: Can you look into .SAT filetype?
It's a file type that's after every file in Okami's archive

Character Number.dat
Character Number.SAT

I think it may be animation files, because literally everything that moves in that game has that kind of file after it's .dat file.
