Hey....it was just an idea.
I mean it'd be easy to do if he looked at how Game Assasin can plug into dolphin.

But whatever, a suggestion is just that...a sugestion. *shrug*
What I mean is come up with a way to run dolphin and open BB inside the dolphin program but meh. whatever.

Look sense people seem to think that asking in threads that people might actually know about this issue is called spamming, I'm going to post this here. I don't expect any serious answers either cause from my experience the whole "help" part of this forum is kind of ignored....

Look at this in Brawlbox: with the "fixed" eyes.



But in Brawl even after I fix the eyes using all the methods mentioned they look like this.



Method 1: Export Ikes original eye materials and rename them after replacing the glitched ones. No change
Method 2: Export Ike's eye polygons and import them. BB crashes when I try to import the .obj...
Method 3: Create new materials and make the references the same as the original. No change...

Seriously...this is starting to tick me off....so yeah...help....?

I'll try just renaming them then, and if that works I'll start working on the mini-psa for ike.

Hmm...do you think you could fix a program up that fixes errors from 3DS Max imports?

Like say I just wanted to change marths sword and he imports back into BB fine, but the eye materials are messed up?

A program that rearanges/fixes polygons and materials so they were like they were when you exported the file would be useful :3

Otherwise do you think you could help me fix Ike's eyes on my hacks, I've tried every method with every version of BB that I have. I might try with a much older bb but I can't find a download for it. the first version of BB that can import .DAE's from max would be nice.

That's the funny thing about buttons like these....they're oh I don't know... -optional- to use...and if fixing them yourself doesn't work, the buttons are there for when you feel like giving up.

And I have been trying to fix these issues with two of my small ike mods for about three days straight. Nothing I've tried works...at least I've managed to fix the faces...it's the eyes that are still pissing me off.

And since we're talking birthdays...mine was yesterday...just so you know...not like that discussion is on topic at all...

Two ideas for BB :/

Auto Eye Fix: I know I'm not the only person who has this issue of messed up eyes when they import a slightly edited character. If brawlbox knew the right materials for the characters eyes beforehand, how can it not remember them after?

Auto Visibility Bone Fix: For characters that have small changes to the appearance and multiple faces, it's as simple as fixing the visibility bone in the object box, why is there not a button to do this?

Can you help me fix Ikes eyes ._. I don't know if it's a Dolphin thing or if I'm doing something wrong. I've tried both ways you said to fix the eye materials and they still appear all white in dolphin gameplay. I'll check and see if the same thing happens on my wii first...but at least the hair and swords are working fine.

You check more than once that the materials weren't messed up? Sometimes it messes up a few times, and you have to fix it a few teims instead of just once.
Yeah, I noticed that the objects for the eye yellow polygons weren't set to Eye Yellow M as their visibility bone :/

I don't know WHAT is [censored]ing up his hair though...seriously....
I'll have to double check and make sure I got everything straight then
