I can't vote for Young Link from Melee hard enough.
Beyond, if you do do Young Link, can I gave you a different model than the one on Models Resource? The on e there is taller vertically than he should be, making him become distorted. I can give you one that is proper sized, and will look proper. The normals and lighting will have to be fixed, but that's easy.
as for the UV issue... imma fix them in BB, so yeah.. lol
Also, one more thing. Well, a request, really. Please rig his fingers. Your other ones do not have rigged fingers. Please, for this one at least, rig them. Thank you.
I see you are using my model. First off, the textures obviously need to be fixed. Second, the normals must be flipped. I just found that out, and I am about to do it for all of my models in my thread. If you fix Roy's Textures/Normals, can you send him back to me, so I have one less model to worry about?
Why are you people voting for Roy? There is a near perfect vertex of Roy in the Vault! Pichu, on the other hand, has crappy vertexes (due to limitations of vertexing Pikachu), and one import of him with no shading over... Olimar. Please, vote for Pichu. If Pichu wins, I will share the Melee T-Posed models for all four of Pichu's colors with Nano.
Just curious, how come you put the Melee head over top of Gamewatching's vertex, instead of rigging the entire model from the Melee section of Models Resource? To be honest, I would not have been able to tell had you not said anything, but still. Just curious. Was it easier, or something?
Oshtoby, I've remade the whole thing and the 2 first points are already done.
Well, the brighter rainbow was already used in some modded version of mine, and I'm using it again. The orange, as a light it's supposed to be, is already unaffected by lights (as you said, easy thing).
I've made the crystal thing to change color similarly to melee, along with the pinkish lines you told me about. I've made a better grid texture fitting the stage, and 'fused' everything into a single model. To be honest, I've imported the whole model you gave me when you posted the stage for the first time, and I've included the parts not included in the current versions. So, the only things I'm using from the current version are, the grids I created, and the unmodded model you gave me. And the collisions. I've renamed all the textures, and I'm still using the same light and background. And the brighting thing from Brawl Battlefield. The stage model has the same color values you applied to the current version anyway, so it looks exactly the same. Only that mine didn't need any bone animation to be in the correct spot, the bones are both in (0,0,0). I'm using 2 bones, one for the stage itself, and another for the crystal, which, as I said, it's part of the main model.
So, unless you have some new idea, I guess we should leave it as is once I update it, at least until the time you try to make the background.
Sorry if something of this bugs you or something, you know I'm a stager, and as a collaborator and such, I wanted to perfect it, even when the 'perfection' doesn't really mean great changes in graphics. Still, I guess it's gonna look a little better than before and you'll be happy about it.
