Sounds like an actual installer will be needed if icons are going to be implemented...
That or some batch files.

I finally got the model file I was seeking, but it seems I can't open it at all...
If you give the forum enough information, you might find a solution to your problem. Although, I think you should post that in a separate help thread.

I personally think that BrawlBox is one of the most detailed file modifiers for a commercial game I have ever seen, and BlackJax's continuous support of such a detailed project is quite a commendable achievement. I would recommend that BlackJax henceforth be delivered all the moneys and [censored]es they require in the effort of further motivation. Cheesy

I suggest you port a PSP character model. The latest version of JPCSP currently supports capturing models.

this model is perfect! :O
is public?
The link to the model is in the description. But as I said, you should message this guy and check that he would be okay with you using it for a SSBB hack.

Consider messaging this YouTube user about using their fan-made model to create your hack.

I'm personally waiting until extracting and converting the models within Crash Bandicoot 2 is possible before I work on a very similar project.

Oh, unexpected turn there. I guess I'll find out what you are to know then lol.
"Neku Taylor" and "Andy Jynx" are both really cool names btw. Tongue

Ok, people who read this post... the 2 of you.
lol
That's still a good collection. Do you use model capture tools for obtaining your models, or model extraction/conversion tools?

A happy fool I am.

If it's an April Fool's joke, we can all slap DSX8 together. But for some reason I doubt it is.

In the best case scenario, the thief may return your data anonymously. I've heard stories of it happening before, so it's no implausible.
However, the other es will be a long-term issue that needs to be resolved.
I hope that you can continue your work in the SSBB scene one day in the future, I enjoyed your work. Smiley
43  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Brawlbox v0.66 coming soon. All animation f0rmats & versions viewable & editable on: April 01, 2012, 04:18:05 PM
Okay...so what am I suppawsed to do with the normals in 3DS Max then? Mario Facepalm I'm not an expurrt like you u know XD
That's got to be the worst way to spell "expurrt" I've ever seen.
In the modifiers panel, create a "Normals" modifier. Then select "Unify Normals". This probably won't fix it entirely, so you will probably have to select inverted-normal polygons within one of the viewpurrts and flip them from the right-click menu.

EDIT: nvm, some mod trickery is afoot. p.e.r = per

I should extract the models from that game...
Good work so far Spex.
45  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / General Hacking Discussion / Re: Metal Gear Solid Needs More Hack Representation! on: March 17, 2012, 06:17:25 PM
Those are great ideas, but don't ya think it's a little bit silly to use textures from a game that was released over 10 years ago? Wouldn't a game with better graphics (Like Twin Snakes) be a better idea? I mean it's not a terrible idea but porting models from TTS would make more since. I don't hate MGS1 imports, but you get what I'm saying right?
Not really. Every model has its own visual appeal. The original Metal Gear Solid was praised because it was able to show so much detail in such low-poly models. Not only that, but the original Metal Gear Solid was so memorable in that it had a very deep storyline for its time. This nostalgic game was referenced several times in the Metal Gear franchise, and you can even unlock a "MGS1" mask in Metal Gear Solid 4.
There is a visual appeal to this model, you just might not share that appeal or understand it.
