You must keep in mind though that my MediaFire account has had to deal with copyright infringement reports several times in the past. Those instances eventually lead to the downfall of my account, and everything that was on there.
Anyway, I did see what Game Front is all about, but right now it doesn't look too promising. For one thing, files that aren't downloaded within 60 days are subject to deletion.
That's a bad new. Mediafire is not the only host, just find another one and re-upload your hacks.
That's what I'm doing, but a lot of file hosting sites have those terms of services mentioning about copyright infringement.
I was thinking about using 1freehosting.com, as I have an FTP account there, which is used to host my Stat Viewer PHP script for Mario Kart 7. The only problem is how the FTP account handles .zip files.
I have bad news for anyone who wants to download my hacks. It appears that MediaFire has completely suspended my account, which means that right now, you can't download anything from my account.
Until this matter is resolved, please don't overrun my Brawl Vault hacks with reports, as I'm fully aware of the situation that I'm in, and I'm trying to find a different hosting place for my hacks.
Thank you for reading this, and I hope to be back in order soon.
I regret to inform you all that due to copyright violations, MediaFire has suspended my MediaFire account. Because of this, I can no longer host my downloads there.
Any advice for what I should do now? I don't want to get overrun by several Brawl Vault reports.
It's also strongly recommended that you only use BRSTMs that use a 32000 sample rate with Gecko OS, as higher quality sample rates may result in erratic behaviors for the BRSTMs.
Using bin2jpg is your best option for decrypting snapshots. Of course, utilizing the Dolphin Emulator to test your hacks can offer you better quality screenshots than what you can get on an actual Wii.
So, I doubt anybody remembers this, but a very long time ago I imported the Silver Sonic model from Sonic Adventure 1 onto Primid. And then I never released it. Gecko doesn't support the file it's in and I never got to test it because of that....
Well. Since I had a break, I nulled the shaders on the eyes and gave it Samus's sheen, then I shoved it into Dolphin.
It's more or less done, now. I'll probably edit the materials a bit more.
I really just hope Riivo can detect this thing so I don't have to do a writeup on editing the .XML.
I do know that the File Patch Code does work with adventure_common.arc. However, due to that file's compressed state, the game will probably crash if it doesn't use less than 1,837,544 bytes (approx. 1.75 MB).
After dealing with an incident with my computer over the weekend, I have my next set of vertex edits up for download.
Sadly, the incident did take away a lot of my work from Autodesk 3ds Max 8, so I pretty much have to recreate the work manually by referring to the vertex point values of my released vertex edits.
you have to put it in your Common5.pac in Brawlbox
Alternatively, you can place your portraits in sc_selcharacter.pac, but keep note that that file will only have higher priority with the File Patch Code.
On a side note, you can also use The GIMP to make your portraits, as that program offers extra tools that can come in handy.
Model importing seems to be the most treacherous task to do, as BrawlBox is very picky with the .dae models that you try to import.
Vertex editing may also have its downsides, as altering the vertex points can have an impact on the animations, depending on what vertices have been altered.
Just got 3ds Max again. Currently I'm working on her:
But, I have problem with her eyes... Someone can help me with that?...
If that's on Peach, you must keep note that she is not flat-eyed; her eye irises and Final Smash eyes are separate texture parts. And because all the Mario Sports Mix models have flat eyes, it would be quite tedious to import them into Brawl, especially when you must alter the MotionEtc files to support the eye texture parts.
On the flipside though, it would be amusing to get Waluigi into the mix, as his Brawl model heavily lacks the blinking eyes that his Mario Party 9 and Mario Sports Mix models have.
Ever since I've began doing vertex hacks, things have gone pretty slow in the mere texture hacking department. Anyway, here's my newest texture hack...
Fighters
Morton Koopa Jr.
Why I haven't done this texture hack sooner is beyond me. Anyway, I basically recolored Bowser to reference Morton Koopa Jr., one of Bowser's seven Koopalings. However, because Bowser's face is mirrored, it was impossible for me to implement the star birthmark that Morton has.
Be sure to check the Brawl Vault for this texture hack, as it'll be uploaded as soon as possible.
Welcome to my vertex hacks thread. For over a month now, I've been taking a knack on making my own set of vertex hacks, all thanks to Autodesk 3ds Max. Of course, it did take me a while before 3ds Max 8 was in my arsenal.
Anyway, in a similar fashion as my Custom Textures Thread, this thread will display all of my personal vertex hacks that I've released onto the Brawl Vault. Of course, some of them may involve the work that was done by other users.

Vertex Hacks
Below is the full list of my vertex hack releases. While almost all of my vertex hacks will have texture edits as well, they'll be placed here, regardless of whether or not they have texture hack properties. Also, the same download rules from the Custom Textures Thread apply here in that all the hacks will come included with replaceable big portraits and small portraits, unless they're associated with Giga Bowser, Wario-Man, or any of the non-playable characters.
Do be advised though that some of the hacks are complete packs, which affect more than just one color slot.
