I've never even done a Pikachu texture, due to the fact that it only has 4 recolors. Its default outfit stays unedited, but the other 3 outfits are team battle colors. Therefore, my Pikachu texture ideas are highly limited.
The fur scares people away thats probably why... I've made a few DK textures because of my friend...
That, and the fact that you can't edit DK properly without Adobe Photoshop; DK has only 1 normal texture (Final Smash eye) and 10 indexed textures (everything else).
At least for Diddy Kong, you can just edit his shirt, since it's a normal texture.
Picano, I should probably mention that Toon Link's eyes aren't flat. He does have an eye iris texture that's completely separate from his eye lid textures. Same case for his Final Smash eye texture.
Did no one mention Ganon as the hardest? DK isn't ANYTHING compared to Ganon. Mario and Luigi are also easy, both their textures are extremely straight forward.
Quite ironic, since there are way more Ganondorf textures than Donkey Kong textures.
Kirby is obviously real easy to edit, but it's important to keep note that he has 8 eye texture parts; 4 normal, 4 Final Smash.
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong can be a pain though, since they have a lot of indexed textures, and it's real hard to figure out which parts are which, especially in Diddy Kong's case. At least Diddy has one normal texture that you can edit alone.
Considering how there aren't a lot of Donkey Kong textures, it really proves how tough he is to edit.
There you have it. JuLz has given the Brawl texture hacking community something great. It'd be a shame if it doesn't get released...
Well, it sure took awhile for Tiamat475 to release his Assault Fox and Assault Falco to the public. No telling when Julz will release his textures to the public. With skills like that, the other Peach textures will sure feel jealous.
After some tests, I've found something out. If you try to edit the eye base, it'll become transparent when you extract the new Sonic PAC. However, if you leave it alone, the eye base remains white instead of turning transparent.
Basically, if you want Sonic's eye base to be black or any color, you'll have to edit his eye texture by filling the texture background with that specific color.
Unfortunately, any textures that I've ditched are gone forever. If I make a texture that fails by my book, then it's garbage and won't be seen by the public at all. Also, all three of my Sonic textures have the eye base unedited.
Anyway, try making a Sonic texture yourself using ASH v2.3 and the results should be much better than if you tried editing Sonic with ASH v2.1 or v2.2.
Hint: ASH v2.3 adds the normal textures automatically without prompting you a question. However, you'll still be prompted questions for adding indexed textures.
4Kids did a lot worse than what you've stated. Remember, F-Zero GP Legend? That was a complete bust. At least they were successful on a few anime programs.
If the dubs suck for being child-friendly, I don't see that as a good excuse, especially when Yu-Gi-Oh! programs are involved. However, if the dubs suck for bad voice acting, I'll buy that excuse. For instance, even though I do watch the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's dub, I never really liked Jack Atlas's voice.
The dress color is way off, the earrings are the wrong color, there's no star on her chest... It's far from accurate. The only other somewhat good one I've seen is Register's sister's, but the dress color is all wrong. >_>
For some reason, I'm seeing something that's inaccurate about Julz' Rosalina Peach. The hair color still needs some fixing up, based on what the snapshots are showing.
