Edit the texture part that contains Peach's dress. You can make it shorter by deleting portions of the dress, but keep in mind that you don't use magenta (#ff00ff) to make the dress transparent; normal textures use the Alpha Channel to show transparent parts.
Since your Wii is an NTSC version, you should be extracting the common5_en.pac file. Also, which version of the File Replacement code are you using? If anything you should be using the File Replacement v2.1a NTSC code; practically flawless with character textures and CSPs, and my game showed no signs of freezing. I do have the code posted here.
Hey Fireking, this is a great texture, definitely by far the best Midna Zelda texture. But I was playing with it just now and noticed something
There seems to be a couple of stray pixels floating by her shoulders. It's really noticeable on the victory screen.
i am aware of this error but no matter how much I tried I couldn't get rid of it all the way. Her sholder armor is completly black in the alpha layer but it still those dam pixels show up. Idk y they do but Ive noticed that on other midnas too. It's a thing with zelda and as much as id like to get rid of it i cant.
I've seen that happen with the Ike textures too, especially the Crono Ike textures. Try to remove the collar and some black spots will still be lying around.
You know, I asked a similar question relating to Yoshi's CLR0 file, but I eventually learned that that CLR0 file is designed to show the player the remaining strength of Yoshi's egg shield; the shield will show signs of breaking when the egg gets darker.
Mr. G&W's CLR0 files can be edited with the GWitizer Beta. All the other CLR0 files, I'm not too sure about.
I'm actually starting to understand the whole story about the egg shield. Yoshi's CLR0 file is actually used to show the player how much time is left before the shield breaks, while his egg texture part (Yoshi_Egg) controls what is shown on his egg.
I've never edited Yoshi's egg texture before since I lacked Photoshop when I did my first set of Yoshi textures. This is probably why I was so confused about the egg textures.
Feel free to lock this thread Mods since I've pretty much answered my own question.
FileFactory is being an idiot since I can't get any of your downloads to work; Kamari Ganondorf was my download target. Have you ever considered using MediaFire, RapidShare, or MegaUpload to host your downloads?
As many people may have probably guessed, whenever you extract Yoshi's texture parts, you'll also get a CLR0 file that apparently affects what his egg would look like when you use his shield.
Anyway, this file is called FitYoshi00EggGuard.CLR0, and I'm not too sure about how the people that edited Yoshi were able to alter the appearance of his egg. I do know that the file affects Yoshi's egg shield in some way since his only indexed texture (Yoshi_Egg) hardly does anything to the egg.
I was banned from the meowmix boards for abusing my mod powers to make an announcement saying Neon Is Awesome and trying to make a board titled "Neon Discussion". I also turned off the censors.
Very rare to see a Mod abuse his/her powers. Only the most trusted members can become Mods, but only if he/she is accepted to become one by the other Mods or even an Admin.
Regarding your PokeNinja texture, you need to fill the background for Meta Knight's Eye texture with magenta; +2 textures use magenta to represent transparency. When the eye texture has a transparent background, both of Meta Knight's eyes will be visible.
Old. I did this ages ago and said it somewhere. Its not really a breakthrough either, its just common sense.
Oh. I thought that very few people knew about this since I never heard anyone asking why Yoshi's Emerald Texture kept on freezing their games the instant they use his Final Smash. Either way, it's a new discovery for me.
I just made a major breakthrough regarding the Emerald Textures. There's a way you can use Yoshi's Emerald Texture AND use his Final Smash without having the game freeze. However, you will need SSBBinsert.exe to accomplish this task.
1: Extract the .brres files from FitYoshiDark.pac; they're 000.brres, 001.brres, and 002.brres.
2: Get hold of Yoshi's normal PAC file and place it along with the Emerald Texture BRRES files in the folder that SSBBinsert.exe is in.
3: Open up Command Prompt and go to the directory that SSBBinsert.exe is in.
4: Repeatedly input the command, SSBBinsert.exe FitYoshi##.pac -i ###.brres until you've placed all the Emerald Texture Yoshi BRRES files into the normal Yoshi PAC file.
In the end, you'll end up with a Yoshi PAC file that contains not only his Emerald Texture, but also his wing texture parts, which will keep the game from freezing. The PAC file should use 1,652 KB (1.61 MB) if you did the steps correctly. Just keep note that the wings will not be affected by the Emerald Texture.
