lol Did you guys see G4's "The Feed"? They said there was a new HackMii for 4.2 already.

Advertising HackMii.....That has to be the the first time G4 has done anything video game hacking, hell Nintendo related in over a year.

There's a slot for Giga Bowser in the CSS files so maybe him.

But I think Wario-Man is in the same boat as Super Sonic. We'd have to be able to add slots for them before we could do anything.

Ten extra icons?
zss + shiek +ivy + squirtle+charizard +4 alloys +giga bowser (all have icons using previous css codes) = 10.


I counted ZSS, Sheik, & PT's Crew in the 40. There 35 Icons in normal Brawl.  

Edit: I forgot random counts as an icon. So 36.

is there any way to use the icons for, say, sheik, zss, and independent pokes?

I've tried all the extra files but they don't work at all. They just make black spaces.

PW did say that is isn't complete yet. He sorta got coaxed into releasing it early. lol The hacking ninja can't be stealthy all the time.

If only there was somthing like this for CSP's. Just drag and drop the TGA files onto the portrates you want to replace, and POW, it makes the files for you to put on your SD card. that would be Awesome Face

EDIT: also, what are all those extra icons for?

The extra icons are just leftovers. Brawl has 50 icon slots; 6 of which are completely blank. 4 out of the extra 10 are for the Alloys btw.

Guess Sakurai just decided to have a nice even number of icons.

CSS Organizer

Using it is pretty straight forward as most of it is just drag and drop. The directory to place the output file in is Menu2. If I ever get back to this I may add a feature that replicates the Custom CSS code using modified files and add that to the app. Be sure to read the readme as it has a code which is required if you intend on setting up certain formations in your CSS.

Also, as far as the Clone Engine or whatnot goes... Adding a new character ID to load a new set of named files is exactly what I've been working to achieve. As I said before, the possibilities look promising - there's just one slight thing with the module files that needs to be taken care of.

Sonic's eyes have never went all green and spastic on me until now.
Which I know means mip-mapping or something close to that. :psyduck:

I know absolutlely nothing about that though, so if someone could fix that for me, that would be most groovy.

Boy, I'm in need of help today huh?

I'm "trying" to remove Sonic's layer of pink around his body (head mainly).

Since it only affects the parts of him that are "shiny" I played around with the files that make him that way.

I removed the "shininess" of certain parts of his head. That lightened the pink a little. (Hardly noticeable though)


So I tried his Env2 file. (70% sure that's what makes him pink cause I tried all the others) Which gave me this:


It just froze there. I waited 20 mins and nothing happened. Halp?





On another note, Metal Textures. How do those work? They act like emerald textures and emerald textures even replace them in when you play Metal Brawl. Could we use those like emerald textures for the characters that don't have one?
It's just something I've been wondering for a while now.

Cerealsly. I want to be able to name a texture Klonoa_Sonic.pcs put it in a folder and never have to rename it again.
