Sounds nice... but what exactly do you mean by "soon"? Before Cloud is released, or after? This week, this month?


Soon as in this is what has caused my texture "slow-down" for the past month.

None of you could understand the nightmare know as this backpack. :V


I'm trying to go for accuracy, but the sleeves don't actually seem to have vertices somehow. So not much chance of a tank top. :/
Other than that, it's going smoothly. I'll be on the "clean-up/final texture" stage of the project soon, so you won't have to wait too long.

Anyway, new preview up. At the moment it's a waiting room, but I might make a version that replaces Green Greens. I just need to fix Pokemon Trainer's T-stance glitch.

Since I know some people think they deserve an explanation (which they don't) as to why I haven't been posting "the goods," I'll drop a little knowledge on you.

My textures have no set time line, meaning if I have a bunch of projects going at the same time, (like I do right now) things are gonna be slowing down. Deal.

I only work on projects that interest me. Meaning if you ask me to make a texture, I probably won't make it. If you suggest an idea that you think I'd be interested in, depending on my schedule, I may of may not do it.

If you constantly bug me to finish a texture, I more than likely will never finish or release it. (A few people want my MW Knightmare v2 done, which is why it's in limbo as of now.)


I may seem like I'm being an a-hole right now, but I'm actually pretty easy going. I just like to work at my own pace with out being pestered.



On another note, 2 previews of new stages have been added to the project log.
The first is Yoshi's Story (Melee), the second is Diamond City Stadium (Taken over by Wario of course).

wait are the green and purple sonics in sonic unleashed?
No the red, green, and gold costumes are just color changes to fix Brawl. They all use the same texture base though.

I made this a while ago. Since I didn't get a chance to work on Yoshi's Island or Halberd this weekend, I felt I owed you guys something at least. Consider this a filler update I guess.

I will be making more sets like this as ideas arise.

Those were the stages I was talking about. They might be done tomorrow depending on how the day goes.

Its a shame we cant add goggles to the headband pikachu, otherwise I would have used the shiny blue one AND had him wear goggles. If you add these textures to the goggles pikachu, you lose the forehead ring, because the ring is done on the headband.
Yea, unfortunately, using the headband was the only way to get an accurate Umbreon. Any texture on Pikachu's head repeats on the back of his head as well. (That's also why my Hoenn Pikachu has some yellow on the back of his head. If I went any further I would have made his forehead white as well)


On another note, I decided that I'll keep a sort of log on the first page as well as posting it like this. It will basically tell you what I'm working on and when to expect it.

Project Log:

- I should be finishing my updates to Paper Yoshi's Island and Milky Way Knightmare soon. Probably by the end of the week.

- I'm actually going to make a version 2 of Dream Land even though I said I wasn't. I might just make one from scratch since it was my very first stage texture. It might end up looking more like Green Greens.

- While I'm on the subject, I'm making Meta Knight's best stage look like....well...a Kirby stage. (If you play Brawl competitively at all you should know what stage it will be) I'll stop making Kirby stages after that since I feel like I'm over-representing Kirby now.

- I'm working on putting Pokemon Stadium 2's background and main platform on Pokemon Stadium Melee. The problem is that PS2's stage is just a little bigger than PS1's so that causes some...I guess you can call it graphical errors. If anyone know how to resize models, please please PLEASE PM me!

- I might make a Metal Gear stage after all that's done. I'm not gonna promise it because I'm not all that interested in the series. But IF I do decide to make it, it will probably be my most detailed texture to date. The only reason I'm considering it is because the series is so under represented as far as stage textures go.

edit: for some reason there's an outline of Kirby's eyes on Ditto. It's not noticeable during game play, but it's just weird that I can't seem to get rid of it.

Okay, I really wanted to keep this a "hush hush" project but I ran into some walls (buildings actually) and now I'm stumped at what to do.


I'm replacing Pokemon Stadium 1's background with Pokemon Stadium 2's.

Problems:
-PS2's main platform texture appears in transformations with dips in the stage as shown here:
(Very outdated pic) See how there's wood in the middle where the dip is?
The stage glitches badly everytime I try to hex it out.

-I can't move the buildings/monitor back to where they should be. (Don't know how)

-I can't resize the stage so the ledges look right. (Just don't know how)


Other than that the stage plays fine, even on wifi.


The only solution I can think of to get rid of the regular PS2's green/pokeball stage texture is to make it transparent. Which I'm not sure if anyone knows how to force polygons to use transparent textures correctly.

Help would be MUCH appreciated.

Through trial and error, I got both the BG & the lighting to work. Expect the texture to be done maybe even tonight, now that I got some motivation. ;P

Okay, so I've been playing around on Brawl and I noticed that Spear Pillar has the PERFECT background AND lighting for Fountain of Dreams.

I've seen people trade models on stages before, so I'm really hoping this is possible.

If you think you can move the background (lighting as well if possible) onto Battlefield, I'll send you the unfinished Fountain of Dreams texture to use as a base.

I'll be trying my hand at this as well.
