So the turnips have different hitting properties? I didn't know that. Did you try changing the Animation Datas in that same section? What you're looking for should be something like that.

anyway, open common3_en.pac in BrawlBox. Scroll through the ItmCommonParam. This is basically the "Item Psa." Export ItmPeachDaikonParam and open it in Sammi Husky's PSA v 1.3A. Then go to Action Events and in the Specials tab, go to the drop down and click "1" you will see things that say "Case: 0-0" "Case: 0-1" etc. this is the different turnips. Stitchface shoul dbe last. so you can like. edit the "Basic Variable Set" things of the other Cases and make them all 1E. That should give you all stitch faces. if you dont want items, then you can use the FPE or just open FitPeach.Pac in brawlbox and scroll down till you see a white box with "Turnip Pull" next to it and edit the number to the right. also remember to save and replace the ItmPeachDaikonParam back into the common3.
