alright i'll do one at a time, and maybe have someone else get one made before i go again so it's fair for them,
and p.s. the number on mine is 003, and it is really the 2nd one you made XD
but i loved seeing my hacks in HD <3
The numbers are in the order that they are received here on the boards. Galiking is 002, if he ever corrects the last mistake that was made. If not, I'll replace it with another submission of course.
Honestly, start over. Once a brick happens, certain files become missing or tampered with. Remove them. Redownload them from the source, and start again.
Welp, this is a learning experience for everyone here. Your replays were there, codes were applied, everything was replaced, worked just peachy~ except for one hiccup:
- When sonic or shadow performed their UpB move, whatever it had been changed to, they zoom upwards infinitely, until the game locks up. Unfortuneately, this prevents us from recording the replays you requested. :\
Sorry!
Let's hope this isn't a moveset replacement barrier, and more of a specific moveset fluke. Guess we'll find out when somebody else wants an HD replay of a replaced moveset.
Its contains the code folder, with the .gct and his text file. Also the savefile is under the folder with some number withing the savegames folder.
The replay I want to be converted is the number 13 on the Wii files..I am a noob with this, so let me know if there something I can improve for the next time.
Thanks!! This is a awesome feature
You did everything correctly! However, due to the limitations of Dolphin, Brawl Minus, Plus, or anything else is currently not supported.
An insightful comment was made on YouTube 56 minutes ago:
"It would be awesome if you provide downloads links to all of the custom things in these videos in the description (if there available on Brawlvault that is)."
So, in a text file within your .zip or .rar, you're more than welcome to add any download links to items presented in your HD replay! We'll make sure they're placed in the bottom of the comments. (I'll add this as Tip #4 on the front page)
yep i'll pm you all of it (i made a folder that has the character files in it)
I use a hierarchy of files exactly like the one on your SD card (I'll update the first post, and mention this Done). So if you arrange your files that you used in your mod the same way it is on the SD card, the process will be expedited quickly.
Sorry, that second download has the files I'm looking for, but after importing it, Brawl tells me the save file is corrupt. LordNoah got it right, perhaps ask him for his method in a PM.
whats file soposed to be called? i mean the replay file
cause i exported it using the savegame manager but idk which to export, and idk what i exported
p.s. congrats on first video
It should export a folder to your SD card called 0001000052534250 (or something similarly crazy). Inside, you'll find the files necessary to zip/rar (along with your modified files). Refer to the first post (which I just updated) to see an example of the files you're looking for inside the 0001000052534250 folder.
Actually looked perfect without any codes at all. No desync that I could tell. But DAMN that's a heavy, heavy stage. Lots of particles, snow, and effects. I might have to overclock this computer beyond 4.0Ghz in order to record it at the same time. O_O;
I personally found it easier to download the savegame manager from wiibrew http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Savegame_Manager I'll have a go, I included the gct as well, in case that is needed for the replay codes: http://www.mediafire.com/?4y5d17mwjlw1791 Am I doin it right? Also, will you ever have P:M/Brawl minus/etc setups so all of the files don't have to be included for people who use those?
Success. Nice work - your replay was there.
Now, let me get this straight, this is a stage mod, and nothing more, correct? Were there any modded characters involved?
what should i use. am i soposed to upload the (for instance, FitMario00.pac & .pcs)
it's just not coming through to me XD
and i have to leave to eat right now, so when i get back i'll download that "savegame manager" and do a replay. . . . . . . oh gosh now i have to figure out what stage to do it on
Well, in order for me to replay your replay correctly, I'll need the files you used when you performed your replay (namely the necessary pcs and/or pac files used, custom music, if any, etc).
It's pretty simple. If it get's over 50mb, I suggest uploading the zipped files through utorrent 3.0's built-in "drag and drop" feature. It'll give you a short URL to paste here, and I'll download it right from your computer. Simple as that.
