no, the replays are still on the wii system. want me to jus save them onto my sd card?
Hm, if your replays are on the Wii, then it should have exported them... I wonder why nothing is showing up. Still showing no replays after importing your thing.
I do know that you'd have to use WinImage to read your SD card. That way, you'll make an image file that'll hold more things than what the program would normally make.
However, you need to create that image file under the .raw file extension if the Dolphin Emulator is ever going to read it.
The biggest flaw with this is that WinImage is NOT free; after a month, you have to buy the program to continue using it.
Oh, fun!
I got this working in Dolphin (textures, csps) - but file patch code 3.5.1 kills it, so audio replacement (and whatever else there was in the 3.5.1 update) is not available.
msg, I used winimage to inject the rp folder, and put replays in there. However, in-game, it says "0" for SD card replays. Any ideas?
EDIT: In Winimage, right clicking on the replay file, and then go to properties. Tickmark the thing called "archive", click ok. NOW they show up in Dolphin's Brawl as the 3 replays i have, but they're corrupted.
Dammit, so close. Any more ideas? xD I'll keep experimenting.
ok. cool. how does the file look when i extract the save data to my SD.
Well, you sent me a data.bin file via mediafire... so I think you already know the answer to your question (It looks like data.bin - haha)
Anyway, like I said, if you want your HD video, move your replay from your SD card, to your Wii memory, and then re-extract your savegame data with Savemanager (again, that file extracted will be a data.bin).
some of my replays might be messed up. do i have to put my pac and pcs here too?
Yes. Anything used to show the replay accurately must be included in your file. Is it included in the one above?
EDIT: After importing your data, I found zero replays. Remember that they must be saved to the WII instead of the SD card for them to export with Savemanager. Care to try again? (BTW: thanks for this mistake, I've added it as a Tip above. heh)
I'm still running the ol' 3.2u firmware. Back then, downgrading wasn't scary, cause the dreaded 4.0 wasn't released yet. I've had starfall on there ever since, and haven't had to update. heh
To do this (I do this all the time so I can utilize hacks inside of the Dolphin Emulator), you'll need Wiiscrubber v1.21, as well as brawlbox.
Open the file that pertains to CSPs within brawlbox (I believe it's one of the common.pac files, if I'm not mistaken). You'll find their pictures, which are replaceable with a simple right-click>>replace feature. Save the file somewhere, and use Wiiscrubber to right-click>>replace the original in the ISO file. Done.
It's tedious. Yes. But hey, you could burn this to an actual DVD after everything was said and done, and then you wouldn't need your SD card at your friend's place or whatever.
In any case, that's how it's done. Let me know if you have any questions.
Welcome to KCMM HD. This is where you'll post the files necessary for the KCMM Team to parse through in order for you to get your HD Video. If you're not certain what KCMM HD is yet, here's a recap of the blog post from the 22nd of June, 2011:
What is this?:
In a recent interview, regional president Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America
. To heck with that! We're going to get your replays in the resolution the wii games were originally developed are capable of; High Definition.
KCMM HD is the ability for users to aquire High Definition videos of Replays. The illustration below shows a quick example of how to utilize KCMM HD:
Downloading 'Savegame Manager' from the homebrew channel only has to be done once. Here's a download link for uTorrent 3.0. As for the forum link mentioned in step 4... you're here!
Note: For obvious reasons, if your creation is a menu, or something of a 'non-replay' nature, please mention that in your forum submission request. Please acknoledge that you will be lower on the tier list of priority, since it will require much more human interaction.
Tip #0: Please, please, PLEASE remember to have the replays stored ON THE WII instead of the SD card prior to extracting the gamesave. Otherwise, there wont be any replays for us to make your HD video out of!
Tip #1: Quick heads-up for people about to attempt utilizing this sweet feature: The files that Savegame Manager should give you look like this (exception is the nocopy folder):
Tip #2: Get the most out of your HD video by removing the Time Constraint from replay recordings:
Code:
Allow Replays Longer Than Three Minutes [brkirch] 040E5DE8 60000000 04953184 60000000 04953224 60000000
Infinite Replays 040EB804 60000000
Tags in replays [Y.S] 0404B140 38A00000
Tip #3: We design a fake SD Card file named SD.RAW in order to emulate the SD Card. When you submit your zipped/rarred file, please make sure the mods you want shown are in the same heirarchy of folders that you'd find on your SD card. (ie: /private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/fighter/) This means the archive you send us will have the files mentioned in tip #1, as well as a zip/rar file named 'private', with your mods inside.:
Tip #4: A few users on YouTube have requested that links to BrawlVault be placed in the comments, so that users can directly get to the downloads of what is presented in the HD replays. It's a great idea, and a simple .txt file within your .zip/.rar file that has that information would be to your own advantage if included.
