Coming in with the sick memes.

(Okay, not really, but I have previews.)

Smash Wii U Charizard has been re-imported, given a brighter texture, and replaced that awful-looking rim lighting in favor for a subtle spec map. (gfycat Material Preview)

Metal texture looks more like Smash Wii U (thanks to SMF1).

And for the Mini-PSA version, Smash Wii U Charizard will be using VIS0. Take a look at this example.

Did I mention this will all be one slot? (Still not wi-fi safe though)

Make the spec map the same color as his flesh, and make the reflection texture more soft/bigger.

It will look much better, trust me.

Good work on using light maps properly. I didn't use them on PM Samus because the extra textures take up filespace, so I used model edits instead.

The Dry Bowser in 3.6b uses the same method you used for your Samus stuff. Good work.

However, the reflection isn't working on Samus... under the phong2 material, the SamusRef texture has its Texture Marix set to false, it needs to be set to true since the objects aren't single-bound.

1) This ISN'T the place to post Stage WIPs when there's a Stage WIPs thread.

2) A thread's popularity is not what defines where you should post things

3) Is it an absurd thought that it would be more popular if people actually started posting their stage WIPs there???
1) This is a WIP thread found in the Model Import forums... he is going to be importing the model into Brawl.. sooo...

2) Agreed

3) Naw

I ran into trouble with the sm4sh model. I may try to finish it later this summer.

Hey, I need some help. I've had PM 3.5 for a while and at one point it just crashed. I re-formatted the SD card since that's what's helped me before, but now the game aknowledges the SD card but doesn't start up PM! I figured I would just wait for 3.6 to try again, and now, here I am. Brand new SD card and everything, and nothing is working! Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'm thinking it might be my Brawl disc since I've had it for like 6 years and it's kinda scratched up, but I'm worried I might've screwed up my WiiU or something...
It is likely the disc. Same thing happened to me.

Normally I'd agree with this (Wii U Yoshi with Brawl egg, for one), but some just don't seem to fit. I can't picture Brawl Marth's face on the Wii U body. Some models are just meant to stay the way they are, like SLNG's Wii U Bowser.

The difference are so minimal that they can be edited no problrm.
102  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: June 21, 2015, 02:35:01 PM
In all honesty... these WiiU models would look loads better if you used assets from Brawl, like Marth's face, gloves, armor, etc. It would help with optimization and the textures wouldnt look as out of place.

Shame we haven't reached godhood yet. We're getting there, though!
Or we could inflict Moderated upon the entire board. That'd work too.
Its almost as if the staff are only human with everyday lives and jobs...

Come on. Get on you ass and stay on the computer all day. You're a moderator, you must be watching these forums 24/7.

Slackers.

More Rock Mario progress.

Anyone else think that this makes Mario look like a stoner?

Started making "Brawlified" Rock, Bee, and Cloud Mario costumes. Got some decent progress with the Bee Suit.

Those look beeautiful. You are doing a rocking job with the textures. Make it rain with those great models.
