Is there any way to take the bone structure from one model, and apply it to another?
Basically, i want to take the bone structure of one of brawl's human characters and apply it to a character from TOS2. I am trying to figure out how to fix the characters from the game, and was wondering if this would do anything to help.
Recently, I've asked dark sonic 19 to fix richter's model from Tales of Symphonia: DotNW for me, but he hasn't gotten back to me in over a month saying that he was almost done the last time i talked to him.
However, i'd really like the MDL0 of richter fixed ASAP....
Does anyone have it OR know how to fix it?

Ok, so last night i was playing brawl, and was like "i need to come up with an idea to spice things up a bit" I then got an EPIC idea for the CSS.
I was wondering if it would be possible to have a THP playing in the background of the CSS showing gameplay or final the smash of whatever character you scroll over.
For example: Let's say I'm on the CSS and scroll over Lucario. A THP would then play in the background of Lucario performing his final smash. However, it would be semi-transparent.
Today, i imported a stage from TOS: Dawn of the New World over battlefield. It is fixed w/Fortwaffles' programs. I replaced the model of battlefield's stage, and put all of the new stages textures in. It looks fine in BrlBx. The problem is, as soon as i choose battlefeild in the game, it freezes w/o even showing the stage.......
Can anyone tell me how to fix this/what i did wrong?
Please respond as soon as possible, so i can get it working.......
Hey, ill keep it short and sweet. Can someone fix richter's model for me? I need it for an import, and the other guy tht said he'd help me wont respond to pm's from me anymore......
Hey all, xxmasal22xx here. Just gatta question for a vertex im doing. Is it possible to have one side of pikachu's face have scars going across his face on the eye texture?
1.)Will you please help me? 2.)If i do a stage import, is it just like a character, where i need to replace just the model + textures? 3.)What are stage collisions? I assume that they tell brewl what is a solid object?
Hey all, xxmasal22xx here. Thanx to Phyco Philla, I now have both of Richter's models from Tales of Symphonia. However, they need to be hexed/fixed in order for them to show up in BrawlBox. As of right now, only the bones show up. I need them fixed for a project I will be doing. They are in .BRRES files, but Fortwaffles' Automatic Model Hexing Tools do not fix them.
If someone would kindly help me out here, i would gladly give you credit when i release it.
Now the link after this text is an other link, of a brres file too, containing a mdl0 and all the textures related to Richter in his second outfit, that obviously you didn't saw in the game yet.
I managed to find these files. It wasn't so hard to find them, but make the difference was. SOme precisions, the files are "patched" with fortwaffle's program. Try preview them in brawlbox, normally it won't work, because the bone tree needs to be fixed. And I don't know how to do it unfortunately...
Hey all, xxmasal22xx here. I recently decided to DL Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. The game is AMAZING! And the characters wld be even better in brawl!!!!!
However.....i cannot seem to find the character brres's in wii scrubber. The only brres files i've found are either JUST animations, or models of stages/places.
I want to launch a project of one of my favorite characters from the game, but in order to do tht, i need the model.
If someone could tell me where in the iso they are located, or even send them to me, i would greatly appreciate it.
I was starting to get into mkn64's method for vertexing/conform wrapping last night. He didn't explain what he was clicking on, and for a newbie to 3DSMAX like me, it was hopeless and VERY frustrating.
If someone would do me a HUGE FAVOR and explain these steps, i would be greatly thankful.
1. import brawl dae - i understand 2. import ripped model - i understand --------------------------------------------------- 3. set model transparent - WHAT? 4. place both at x0.y0.z0W - WHAT? 5. select the mesh you want to edit - WHAT? 6. switch to vertex mode - WHAT? 7. use the soft selection tool to stretch the wieght values of your model around the other model' - WHAT? 8. once all is good run the conform wrap script - WHAT?/Where is this? 9. touch up some nasty parts that got messed up - WHAT? 10. export and double patch - WHAT?
I need someone to explain these steps (3 - 10) to me and possibly post pics of the buttons that i need......

Hey all, xxmasal22xx here. This is where i will post some of my pokemon imports. They will prob take a while for them all to be completed, UNLESS a bunch of you help out (please?).
Current Projects: Luxray over Pikachu - needs custom animations, a tad bit of PSA work Dragonite over Charizard - needs to be ported still Tyranitar over Charizard - needs custom animations, PSA work Vaporeon over Pikachu - needs custom/normal looking animations, PSA work Delibird(s) over Ice Climber(s) - needs custom animations Infernape over Donkey Kong - have 1 person helping, would be nice if i could get a few more Chimchar over Diddy Kong - needs custom animations, PSA work ??? over ??? - It's a suprise (DON'T SPOIL IT IF YOU KNOW), almost done Chimchar and Infernape are going to be released together (but need people for chimchar if that's ever going to happen) I hope that some of you guys will volunteer for one of these projects. Luxray has a few animations already, and i fixed the item + grabbing glitches (can hold items and grab others/be grabbed). Vaporeon is in the vault, but is barley a hack yet. I have all animations for Vaporeon done (uses pikachu's animations) but need them to look normal. The FitPikachuMotionEct.pac file for Vaporeon causes the game to freeze, if someone can fix that, I'd be very grateful.
I would very much appreciate if someone who reads this will be up for helping me out. If you want to help with Luxray or Infernape/Chimchar, please, Please, PLEASE let me know through a PM.

Hey guys, xxmasal22xx here! I was looking through poketrainer's fighter folder, and saw tht he has fitpoketrainerfinal00_en.pac, fitpoketrainerfinal01_en.pac, fitpoketrainerfinal02_en.pac, fitpoketrainerfinal03_en.pac, and fitpoketrainerfinal04_en.pac! So i was thinking that we could research this and see if we can do this for other characters! if so, we may not need a clone engine!
Also, you know how in char_bus_tex (for the csp's and stuff) they dont go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 for the character's csp's? there are some, pikachu for example, that have menselchrface 21, 22, 23, and 24? What if we imported another csp, on pikachu (a fifth one) and named it menselchface 25?
