3. Lastly, I hate that you can't press anything sometimes when you get combo'd in the air. It makes it so you can't even 'comeback'. If you're up against someone who can combo well and for a while(like me) you end up getting a bunch of damage or even dying when you can't try your fullest.
#3 is my friend's problem. It'd be nice if I could remove these somehow.
That's easily removed, all you have to do is this.
It is possible, and that's what I decided to go with. The PM still says who actually did the adding, but that information isn't retained anywhere else.
Though it is very important that the BV link you provide comes from the profile page or the BV buttons in posts, under the awards.
By the way, thanks to everyone for giving me ideas and pointing out errors. I still haven't figured out the one that's bugging me, but I'm damn proud of how this has turned out. I feel like this is a big step for the Vault.
Next on my agenda: improving searching. More like fixing it, I guess.
That's great!
Thanks for all the hard work Vyse. Now I can add CSPs to my hacks without feeling like a thief =D
Right now, anybody can add anything. No stats about the CSPs are kept.
I can add a prompt for the name of the creator instead of just taking it from whoever is uploading, but if people wanna steal, there's not really a way to stop them from doing so.
That's true sadly.
A way to enter the name still would be nice, though. Even when stats aren't kept I'd like to acknowledge the person who made the CSP. Unless that's a lot of work to code.
Soooo, how's this going to work? Can we just add any CSP to our hacks regardless of who made it or is only the person who actually made the CSP allowed to add it?
I'm asking because I know a lot of people here are very sensitive when it comes to credit.
I was wondering, once it's all done and set up would it be possible to code a function that automatically ports movesets from NTSC to PAL? The only difference (afaik) are the SFX IDs. Compiling a list of the corresponding SFX IDs could be a community effort I guess. You don't really need extensive hacking knowledge for that xD
Squirtle and Mario's DownB freezes? Do you by any chance have a scrubbed ISO (single layer/DVD5)? I remember there being a bunch of bad/corrupted ISOs flying around back in the day that would cause those freezes.
Go download it! The hack deserves way more downloads than it currently has. I played mostly Link (as Kratos of course) during my 6 hours P:M session and I'm still not tired of this import. Though I had to switch from winged judgement to regular judgement, the wings were starting to get distracting xD
Did I mention that I love the attention to detail in this import? After removing the wings I noticed that even the tassels from his judgement suit are rigged and animated <3
I'm really late to the party but with the release of P:M demo 2 I've booted up my brawl for the first time in a year and finally got around to use your Kratos import.
Gotta say I'm impressed. The rig seems flawless from what I've seen and looks really good during gameplay (loving the little details, like the sheathed sword which sadly a lot of imports/vertexes are missing). Makes playing the improved Link even more fun.
Thanks for all the hard work on that import, it's greatly appreciated =D
All that really matters is that Project: M is being featured on a big name gaming website. Who cares about the site's credentials? That's beside the point.
^ This. Publicity is publicity and in the case of IGN that is pretty damn big publicity. Especially consdering it's an actual full-lenght feature and not just a quick copy paste newsflash like it usually gets on other sites.
I'd also like to quote this from the comment section (which was suprisingly positive btw):

This is not about competitive or not. This is about a group of talented folks seeing a space between Melee and Brawl, a space that held their ideal Super Smash Bros. game. They spent two years of their own time - for no pay - to create this.
Try the game. Respect the effort. Don't turn this into a silly debate about what type of gamer you are. That's just silly.
