You would need to edit the translations in the animation so that they match Toon Link's proportions.

That's because Mr.Game&Watch is...A little different when it comes to how his costumes work.

He technically has only a single costume model, but his recolours use alternate colour palletes that are stored in that one costume. StarWaffle's Paper Mario model somehow makes use of the way Mr.Game&Watch's costumes work for its recolours.

And if something is .rel ported over him, it'll just make all 6 slots use the same model with the exact same textures, as it's not drawing from the palettes that Mr.G&W normally has access to.

The same thing happens when you replace the 2D man's textures - they overtake every slot.

...At least, that's my understanding of it .__.'

This user has uploaded Pik's YoungLink model and the recolours that he had made, but without a scrap of credit mentioning him. There is also a PSA in the download that I cannot discern the origin of, but it has an edited ClawShot model so the hook is shaped like Young Link's from Melee.

Its description also holds two download links, the one entitled "Models" uses the same URL on mediafire for Pik's previously mentioned recolours and model, http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=25539. I find it odd that they'd take Pik's preview images, but re-upload them elsewhere for this .__.'

The one named "PSA" contains the same FitLink.pac and FitLinkMotionEtc.pac(Both renamed from Link to ToonLink) and an 'ItmToonLinkBombBrres.pac', and a slew of random models and recolours by Pik, with a few that KTH had vertexed the sword and shield on. Turns out this is the same person who uploaded something CSS related of ASF's from almost a month ago.

...Okay, MMBN2 pun aside, my strengths are animating and model work, and I have a pretty decent amount of PSA knowledge.

As for why, it's because I wanted my favourite character back from Melee, so I practiced and practiced animating to aid in that. My modeling capabilities came rather naturally, whereas PSA was the most difficult for me to grasp of the 3.

It's not my PSA, though, this was the Roy from before I came to the community, but it does include my recently released models. I do wish to be collaborated for those, and I was not even given a smidgen of credit for that.

(Also lacks all the proper codes to make the .rel port not freeze)

This user has posted this before, and the moveset contained within is Project:M demo2's Toon Link.

Same graphical stuff, like the red arrows, it has the bottle model, the animations are all P:M's and taking a peek at it with PSA, it doesn't appear to have be changed.

I had the idea of making it so unapproved hacks cannot appear on the '10 newest hacks' list.

This way, they would need to meet the requirements before a moderator approves it and it becomes available to the public (Except for those curious enough to click the "Approve This" text on the vault). This would stop all the problems with a hack not having images, among other things.

I had honestly thought that was how it worked until recently .__.'

Hrm...

Might be an issue with the disc that's happened to spring up at the same time. You should try running the game without hacks via the disc channel to see if Bowser will work. If not, there's a chance that the disc might be scratched or something. (Maybe borrow a friend's disc that you know works to test?)

I know there are codes to fix stages, the "My Music Reset" codes, but I've never heard of codes to fix characters before ._.'

I can field a few of these questions;

1. I'm afraid you would not be able to properly .rel port someone with the P:M demo, as that'd require re-making your .GCT with the stabilizing codes added, and P:M's coding is a secret to the public at the moment.

...Except for porting over ROB, has he only requires a .rel and the proper stuff in his fighter folder as long as you wouldn't mind him not having SFX without Marth being in the battle(As that'd require the 'ROB has Marth's soundbank' code). Otherwise, Marth would be the only candidate for replacing, I'm afraid.

2. As for things like Gravity, various speeds or hitlag adjusted to fit Melee's environment, it would need to be a PSA made for P:M.

However, things like the ability to Wave Dash, L Cancel and to have the Melee Air dodge are from codes as far as I recall... At least, waaaay back when I tried P:M demo1 Marth in B+ for the fun of it, he could not do those 3 things.

I've never seen a Roy PSA of any sort that's made with P:M in mind. Aside from my own they all seem to be intended for vBrawl, but I do intend to make a P:M version of the one I've been working on for a while if that might catch your fancy :3

Actually, the textures themselves were made by Steelia for a texture hack in Melee of a "Brawl Roy".

I've edited a few things on them, one being that I made the triangular parts on the tips of his cape more noticeable and 'complete' as they had the regular parts of the cape cutting through them more than I felt they should. And I did edit his eyebrows and some bits on the lining of his tunic, and part of his fingers.

Vert had also combined many texture files, and I had taken that a step farther so Roy has Roy01-10 textures, two for his sheathe and his 4 eye textures. UV edits all over the place - that was tricky ;__;

But I'm glad people like him. That was a lot of work ^_^
