Would it be possible for anyone to do a quick Sypha Belnades over Zelda? I would really like to have that and Grant over Shiek together. Would be a great team.
I've searched and as far as I know it hasn't been done yet.
Could someone PM me a LINK to that texture re-do as well? I came all this way, reading almost every single post in this thread, and jumping between links for about 20 minutes.... Just to find out that there isn't a link to the Alucard in the screenshots.
PLEASE send me a link, I am dieing to have this one.
I know you like Judgment more, and that you already did us older schooler CastleV fans a tribute with your Alucard-SoTN texture.
But could you PLEASE vertex hack some of his capes polys to fold largely around his shoulders? It would make your texture look almost PERFECT. Maybe make the hair fuller or something, but it's great already.
Look
See what I mean? If you did that, then that would be a perfect Alucard in my eyes. No need to ever hack a model into the game or anything. (Creating new moves would be almost a waste, one guy swinging a sword looks enough like any guy swinging a sword.) PLZ bulk up those shoulders and cover them with the cape. If you can / do then thanks!
LOL You do know you can pick the coins up of they are under the now ready scroll right? just watch the hand animation. you'll know when you can pick it up, and why is your random even under the ready scroll? lol
Mine isn't letting me so either your wrong, or mine isn't for some difference in code. Either way, your "LOL" doesn't fix anything for me. If someone DOES know how to get the ICON / COINS to spawn somewhere OTHER than RandomSelect, I would like to know.
Sorry but I can get some low res images later if this doesn't work out. What I mean specifically was something that was once a glitch with this very CSS that is downloadable here. Although one of the versions fixed this, after I added all the characters it was no longer in effect. So I am missing some code.
The Select ICON I am referring to is the mini-circle that your Player Number Hand can drop onto a character portrait to select them.
-This circle icon (or player coin) spawns on top of the Random Select portrait. -Player icon coins cannot be picked up after 1 player chooses a character. -I need the player coin to spawn somewhere other than Random Select AND NOT the Random Select portrait, preventing them from spawning under the "READY TO FIGHT" bar that appears in CSS.
I just need the code for player-icon-coins to spawn anywhere but on Random Select. That's the easiest way to put it. If you don't get the rest, you don't need to. Jut post some code on here that changes where your coin spawns when a player joins the character select menu.
If somehow this is not clear enough I'll upload an image later. Although it should not be needed. If it IS, then I'll take a picture of it with my DSi. The quality won't be great but it's my only means for now. Thanks again for the replies.
Sorry I don't know anything about translating code form NTSC to PAL. Getting answers in this thread seems a bit slow. I was hoping to get a reply to my code problem within the last day or so. But people only talked about it, not answered.
I have to reformat my PC so I probably won't be back today. GL. (Also all code for Brawl on the internet is for NTSC unless stated otherwise.)
Did any working animations ever get finished for this?
Also, if it is going to be on Yellow Alloy, could you make ALL DOWN-A based moves a block or dodge move? Alloys don't usually have them, but mid-air it could be a dodge move like a teleport-ish Double Team. (Cloud has an amazing version you could use as his DOWN-B Air. The 2.5 ver I think.)
Anyway, there are lots of defensive moves that can be given to an Alloy. And although it may take a lot more thought and work than a usual creation, it IS entirely possible to make an Alloy with Block/Dodge capability. Keeps the playing field even.
That has the code manager inside it. For some reason most of the websites in this entire community (spanning way beyond just Kitty Korp) only gives links to a page that talks about the program. But there's no DL link. So use this one for now. Get it while you can.
Has anyone been able to add the code to fix the Player ICON spawn locations in Character Select? I would really appreciate it.
Everywhere I lok seems to have too much information regarding CSS. I can't tell what is minimally needed to simply have the Alloys, Poke'mon, and ZSS on the CSS.
I don't want GigsBowser or WarioMan on the select screen.
So 2 questions: 1=What do I SIMPLY do to add what I wrote above? 2=If I did want to use only the CSS menu (any) that is above, (no custom character images or names) would I HAVE to use a program and open up any annoying files? Or Could I just download it, place it in a folder and use these codes?
The answer obviously already exists somewhere in the help sections, but they are covered with information on creating your own, and steps to do things I don't want to. I've tried doing searches to get a simple answer, but lots of this goes above my head. I know that asking a simple question often gets a flaming reply here. but remember that no matter how much time and effort is put into the Help Section, people will still need to just have simple questions answered by those who understand.
I feel like I should say this. So if anyone gets offended just remember that every single one of us is entitled to how we think. That said, Kusanagi, you're good at this but I feel I just had to say something to the contrary. (Although thanks for posting new content in general for others to enjoy.)
I think this is a completely useless creation. I mean, there's a billion COOL ideas out there, that you look perfectly capable of doing, but instead produce this completely USELESS "what-if."
I guess it's neat to see how far our hacks have come, but wasting the time to complete this AND post it is exactly why we don't have a working Mewtwo (with model instead of textures and bad move changes) or a downloadable Duke Nukem.
Everyone has the right to pursue whatever they want in this field, and no one is being paid. But as a community, don't we want to have spent more of our time making something worth our time that people will download AND keep? This is right up there with a model hacked-playable Magikarp that literally has no moves but is playable (move around, get knocked out.) Can you put some of your hard work into either some of the massive amount of requests, or something that you think would be worth playing?
