Meta Knight's Cape Help: RESOLVED!!!!!

Ok so I am finishing up a started   texture. I have one problem though  
Now this is a noob question but... how do I edit his cape!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried editing it but when I run it through ASH everything is fine(except his eyes) then when I play Brawl his cape doesn't have the edits on them!!?!?!!??!!
I am NOT talking about his "mantle" texture for when he does his taunt that part is just fine I am talking about his CAPE! Just trying to let everyone know the problem before everyone calls me a noob

Mmmmmm, think you can supply the textures of your edited Meta Knight?

As you said, there's his mantle texture (which is a texture on its own), then his cape is located with his sword and wings... It comes in two forms, the first being the larger back of the cape with the symbol, then the second being the inside/darker part of the cape.

The cape is on the same texture part as the sword and wings.  Don't bother making it transparent though since it'll not work.

I tried to edit Peach texture and opened up in paint and it didnt show any edit i made too.
(but it is my first try making a texture)

I could use the Mario no hat code and it would remove his cape.
