having trouble opening it in brawlbox. error pops up saying "system access violation attempt to read or write protected memory" help me out here?

Is it corrupted?  If so, then get an unedited one.  BrawlBox can read files with read-only attributes, so that can't be your problem.

its not corrupted, i opened many times before this error.

are you using brawlbox 6.3d? Bero's versions have been very buggy for me, if you're using one of those, I would try 6.3d
