How to edit Snake's hair? Looks like paper...pic inside...

I didnt even EDIT Snake's hair and it came out like this.....

And whats with his eyes? The only thing i edited on his "02fit_snake_atama" file was his bandana, and all I did was change it to black. I know theres some kinda trasparency issue here somewhere or something, but I cant put my finger on it...help please?!? I dont wanna do anything to the hair and eyes, i just want them normal...how do I go about doing this??

Put Magenta on a layer behind the hair file. (R:255, G:0, B:255)

and when ASH says "Magenta found, do you want to make it transparent?" type y and press enter.

When u say behind, do u mean make a new layer kinda like u would an alpha channel and just make the entire layer magenta? im sorry for soundin so noobish but thats what i am..just trying to learn thru trial and error
