Adding new slots

I was wondering if it was possible to add a new selectable slot for my characters, or like a character duplicate that I'll change around. Example would be adding a duplicate sonic and having 2 on the roster, but adding the shadow vexture hack that I have on the duplicate and putting a custom csp and everything so that I'll have shadow and sonic on the roster. Possible? O: If so, how? And sorry if this is somewhere else :s I'm new..

I tried the new slots thing and got the death beep...

editing the roster takes even more work to add chars...

once I figure out how to do this, I'll let you know ;)
(I have quite a long way to go though) <:|

it requires quite a bit of editing =.=

you have been through a lot of hassle. I've watched every topic you posted on this, and most of them seemed to disintegrate gradually.
But the coolest part was that you didn't stop working on it despite that.

you're doing more with your life right now than probably most other people around you. You're a valuable asset to the Smash community. So yeah, you should be proud.

That 'guy' is already working on it >.>

Tcll is working on a character .rel editor on SmashBoards. If we can get it to work, we can replace the alloys with characters who actually have a moveset.

we can also expect a first P:M release soon I think in that case, I remember something about them not wanting to release until clone engine was, maybe not

yea...
that I am *scratches back of head*

the REL format is complicated...
and it's not easy to figure out the required info <:/

I keep asking Phantom Wings to give me info on the hex data...
(he hasn't replied in quite a while)

he's built a viewer for REL files...
but you need to know Power PC Assemby first...
(his viewer is in PPC ASM)

I'm trying to decipher the source...
but the decompiler I'm using skipps a few methods...
it's a trial version D:<

anyways...
so that's that...

I'm doing this because I want to make Melee-Brawl
(adding the 5 missing chars, and bomberman)

bomberman was actually a char in brawl, but he was removed X(
