Well as the title says. Has it ever happened before? Because a lot of things have said its barely possible. And that makes me not want to hack my Wii juust a bit. since my whole family plays the Wii. But from the looks of it it seams barely any Wii has broken from Hacking. So the question is, has a Wii ever crashed from hacking?

Thanks for reading~

Records state that the odds of your Wii bricking are very unlikely when you attempt to install the HBC.

As long as you just install the Homebrew channel, nothing should screw up your Wii.
If you don't want to risk it, don't use the Wad Manager app, it can brick your Wii in some circumstances, if used improperly.
However, if you install BootMii as boot2, your Wii will have brick-protection, and as long as you have a backup of your NAND (which BootMii can create), you can restore your Wii if you screw it up.

Nothing will brick unless you are stupid and try to forcefully upgrade/downgrade your wii. Don't.

This is exactly why I use Stack Smash. I'm not good with instructions especially those about hacks. I even got a message once at Brawl's start up saying my system files where corrupt when installing Stack Smash. So yeah... Just proves I suck with this stuff, so it's probably best I stick with the safe and easy methods of hacking like Stack Smash.

Well Being as me and my sister addictively play this game often, i have decided to give this a shot, just need to get a proper clean/nothing in it SD card and i shall try, Although i am not at all good nor do i know anything about coding/hacking im good at understanding instructions so il just try it with the complete n00bs guide to brawl hacks.

Thanks for the responses! And wish me luck! Cheesy
