    how can i change facial expressions for a character in brawl box?

    or is it somthing like vertexing?

    I think it depends on the character. I believe people like Ike, Sonic, and Zero Suit Samus can have different vertexed faces.

    Some characters can have their face expressions changed by mere texture edits.  Toon Link is a perfect example of this scenario.
