Help with stage expansion

I followed the guide to get the new stages, but each time I try to load a stage, it freezes and I get that awful eeeeeeeeeeee noise.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having the same problem except instead of the "eeeeeeeeee" noise it just won't load or anything it won't freeze either it just seems like its trying to load but it won't.

I named the stages like in the guide STGCUSTOM01 for the "01" ID slot and then tried renaming them STGCUSTOM1 to see if it would do anything and I just have the same issue. I am using the Gecko OS off my SD card. And have properly added in the Codes and selmap for Common_5

Other than that all the old stages work fine.
I don't mean to steal the spotlight I just posted in this thread so there wouldn't be another.

use the .rels
