Help with custom SSS?

Hey guys. I'm having major issues with making myself a custom SSS. Everytime I insert a stage preview image and a selection icon, all of the selection icons go white, and the name of the stage appears on all of them at once. However, the stage preview image works. Am i doing something wrong? Also, are there codes i need on order to use a custom Stage Selection Screen?

Do you mean over custom stages or over the stages in Brawl?  This makes a big difference in trying to determine what's up with your problem.  Also if you are trying to put in custom stage, custom pics, etc. then are you using Phantom Wings Stage Expansion 2.0 or the earlier build?

I mean over brawl's stages. And no, i thought the PWSE code was my problem, so i deleted it.

Are you using Riivolution or Gecko?

Well first off are you using common5.pac?  sc_selmap won't work with Riivolution.  I'm assuming you are since you actually got something to pop up tho.  When you insert the image what type of compression are you using?  You have to dumb down the image/file size as much as possible before inserting it so you won't have issues.  Also did you download a clean version of common5.pac? If not maybe the one you got has something wrong with it?  If none of the above works it could either have something to do with your codes or your sd card.

They should have this info when imported:

Width 64
Height 56
Format CI8
Level of detail 1
HasPalette True

Also to lower the file size use a compressor such as png gauntlet to shrink your png file.
