Captain Falcon Troubles!?

Stupid he's giving me trouble!!! Alright so first problem is I colored him black and he comes up red in Brawl!? Does have a gay red layer like Sonic's pink layer? Well this texture was made when I first started texture hacking and I went to be a dumbass and colored almost the whole texture black >_<
Like the black part outside of all his clothes and [censored]. So I try him in Brawl and when ever he gets hit he turns orange!? When he charges he turns an orange instead of yellow-ish. If I get a free moment I can take pictures if that can help anyone more. Also I tried coloring another part of which were his legs black and they were black not red. I don't know this is all making me pissed...

Ok at first i thought it was his specular map, but then you said "If I get a free moment I can take pictures", so then i thought it was a mipmap, but you said his legs go black, so it must be his spec. There should be a grey texture in there (strongly resembling his body texture), color that black.

I havent edited falcon in ages, so i cant remember if both his legs and body have specular, but i recall only the body hacing it.

If its not black now, its probably mipmaps, upgrade your ASH if so.

I think the old ASH is better with that but I will try the newer ASH because I still have it and if it doesn't work I'll tell you
