I am trying to edit the namestamp thingy on the subspace THPs so that my dk thp hack has a more fitting stamp instead of "bowser" showing up randomly over the thp

but when i tweek the name stamp, it just makes a black overlay that covers the entire screen with the name on it for the duration the namestamps up there, I want it to be how it's normally, with the exception of the changed text (this is a texture replace) they are PNG and the exact size/dimentions of the original

i dont think they can work wit the THP files... im not sure =/

^ its the param file im working on, this file goes in pf/movies/param/us, and it controls the namestamps that show up, it loads when the timed event triggers it during a THP
