Marvel VS DC.... wait that can't be right... (Updated August 28)

[Scubadave135]

I'm a huge fan of brawl but an even bigger fan of Marvel and DC characters. So I thought, why not combine them? And after spending a day learning how to hack, I then spent less than a week developing these works of art. I'm new to this forum deal so right now I will focus on uploading pictures. Then I will go back and upload my textures for download. I hope you guys enjoy them. And I plan to have some more ready in the near future.

Captain America
(Texture by ScubaDave135)
Update: I have given this texture a more defined blue and brightened the red a few knotches. I haven't updated the images yet so if you want to see the finished version then you will have to download it.

Hey these are nice, although I can't say that their original.
But they're good.

[catgowoof]

Very nice.

[????]

Very impressive!

[PAVGN]

I was wondering when someone was going to make The Thing. Captain America looks nice too.

[Scubadave135]

Thanks, it wasn't an easy task making The Thing because of all the transparent fur on DK. So in all honesty, props should go to catgowoof. I used his gutsman texture as a guideline while designing mine.

These came out great! Definately gonna download  the Thing and Captain A.. You think you'll be doing anymore?

[Scubadave135]

Yes I plan to have a few more coming out soon. But a bit of advice, don't download Captain A until tomorrow. I've revised his colors giving him a stronger, more defined blue. It looks alot better and I plan to have it up for download tomorrow around 12. Also in the making is DK as the Hulk (I know its nothing fabulous since its basically a green  DK but I thought what the heck, might as well). Also I'm turning Metaknight into Batman aka The Dark Knight. And I've recently seen a texture of link as the green goblin but it wasn't very well done so I'm going to redo that one too.

Green Lantern could use some shading... Aside from that, I like them a lot ;D

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Live the textures, glad to see someone else making some superheroes, not sure if you've seen mine, but I have made a few myself XD.

The Thing is awesome!

[Segtendo]

That Captain America is better than the one in the gallery!

[vcvmajinken]

improve donkey but, all your stuff (specially c. america and g. lantern) are so good

[Double D.]

Your Captain America looks good, but you're missing a few things that actually make Cap...well...Cap
You forgot his scale mail he wears on his torso, the wings on both sides of his head, and the emblem on his back actually needs to be a big star. Other than that, its definately a good texture, mine and yours both can easily blow out the one thats in the gallery (no offense to the original creator)

Are you planning to do more of this textures?
