My game freezes with info.pac

I'm sure this has been an ongoing issue, but I can't figure out why my info.pac file is freezing my game. It was over sized, but I compressed images to make it smaller and my game freezes at the black loading screen still. I even took out the SD card after running Gecko and made it to the title page, put it back in and was able to select a character, but once I went any further than that, it would freeze. I can use the rest of my SD card by removing info.pac, but what's making it freeze? I used a fresh info.pac file that was the normal size with everything standard and it still freezes. I use Gecko. I don't Riivolution, Ocarina, or any like that. Just HBC and Gecko. Any help would be great.  :srs:
