Unfortunately, I'm awful at this, and my puny mind cannot comprehend the reason why my downloaded stages aren't working.
So here's a bit of a back story, I got this whole Riivolution Homebrew whatchamacallit from my friend, and it's been working fairly well for me up until now. When he first set it up, I think he might have moved the folders around a bit (which might be the reason for my problem) in order to help me understand how everything works better.
Under this folder: (SD card)\brawlmods\textures I had the folders fighter, menu, menu2, music, and system. Besides music (which I haven't tested yet), all other folders seem to work fine with their hacks. I have been adding characters successfully.
Well, I wanted to add some stages, so I went out and downloaded a bunch, learned about REL files, added the appropriate folders, all that jazz. It didn't work the first time, so I copied the Stage folder to two more areas and the Module folder to one other area, so that if it worked at all, I'd only have to delete the non-working folders. I even downloaded a default Final Destination stage to make sure it wasn't the REL file that was screwing with me.
Each stage and module folder had the same stage and REL files. Here are the three areas where my stage files are located: (SD card)\brawlmods\textures\stage\melee (SD card)\brawlmods\stages\melee (SD card)\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\stage\melee And here are the areas where my module files are located: (SD card)\brawlmods\textures\Module (SD card)\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\Module The red text represents the folders I added as I was copying the stage and module files. They did not exist beforehand. There isn't anything in these red folders besides the files I mentioned.
My item hack is here (I only have one, for food): (SD card)\brawlmods\textures\item\tabemono I have a feeling it's not working for the same reason stages aren't working, I just need to find out what that reason is.
I'm fairly certain I'm using the right names for these files, but just to avoid any doubt, here are a few examples. ItmTabemonoBrres (PAC file found under the tabemono folder) STGFINAL (PAC file found in the three melee folders I mentioned above) If I were to guess, I'm probably missing some system file/folder somewhere that lets me replace this kind of stuff. I'm not too sure, though.
Thanks!
