Results screen hacks go in the same place as your stages. If you're using Gecko, they go in pf/stage/melee

If you're using Riivolution, they go wherever your xml tells you to put stages, but be sure to rename it STGRESULT_en.pac

thanks i appreciate your help. But can you also answer the other question? I turned my gct into a txt file, I entered the stage expansion code into it and I turn it back into a gct with gct edit. But when I run it, either it doesnt work or it freezes at the stage selection screen. Can you tell me what am I doing wrong? (I'm using Gecko btw)

I wouldn't know exactly what the problem may be. Could you maybe list the code you're adding?

Well I added the code before and it worked. It's the stage expansion code by PhantomWing, but alot of stages I added for it keep making the game freeze and I dont know why, like Castelvania Clock Tower and the Blue Moon Battle Ship. Its not the stage pics or the size of the pic files. I am trying to re-enter it but it doesnt work. Can you list the procedure of how to add a code into your gct just so I can make sure I'm doing it right (if you don't mind).

Well, basically, you open up a GCT file in a program called GCTEdit.

You then copy the code you want to add and paste it in the box. Then you delete all the spaces between the lines of code (both in the middle and at te ends of the lines so that it is divisible by 16) click Add, then save.

However, I think the problem may be something else. Out of curiosity, are you using REL files to put stages over the custom slots?

Yeah i am. I made sure they matched the slot of the added stage. I even did a test where I only had the Castlevania stage added and nothing else and it still froze. Also which save button do I use after I added the code, save gct or save txt?
