Okay so as you can probably tell by my username, I am a huge noob to the world of hacking and everything. I followed a few beginners tutorials that helped me install the Homebrew Channel and Gecko OS 1.9

I also followed a tutorial for how to get hacked characters for Super Smash Bros Brawl. I made all the folders and everything on my SD card. The whole shabang. I did everything that anybody says to do.
After adding things to my Zelda character folder, I tried several times to run the game through Gecko, but every time I try it says "No SD codes found" and then runs my game without any hacks.

I've googled the solution to the problem but none of them apply to my situation, because people used different ways to do hacks (if that makes any sense).

If anybody has any idea how to successfully fix this, please help! I've tried so many things and nothing has worked.

Did you delete the gct file or the rsbe file cause if so then you can't play the game with the hacks

Make sure the gct is named RSBE01.gct (that's zero one) and is in your "codes" folder on the root of your SD card.  Also make sure you have the right file patch code for your region.
