is a 4 gb kingster... micro SD, i use it with a SD Adapater, and it worked perfectly, i never had problems, till i tried this of the HDD... anyways, i will try to see if they can install me the CFG usb loader, after all, i need that to load gamecube games from HDD
It can't load GCN games, it has a fail safe to prevent that. When a Wii plays GCN games it switches to GCN mode and disables all non-Wii functions like USB ports, the moment that break happens the Wii will lose connection to the HDD and the Wii would freeze. If you know of a way to prevent that please let me know!
As for your SD card I'm impressed, Brawl hacks normally only work with 1 or 2 GB SDs. Whenever I try CFG with my 4 GB or 8 GB one it fails to load the file patch code (it gets everything else), which of course prevents me from playing Brawl+. And Gecko OS just denies my codes file altogether. If you're able to get it to work on your 4GB with the disc then I'm jelly, I'm almost out of room on my 2GB and I haven't replaced all the music I want yet.
Anyway, your solution is simple: if you want to play Brawl hacks off an HDD, you need to use a normal 2 GB SD (not HCSD). I recommend Sandisk, the blue one not the white "for Wii" one. For me the white one only works with CFG and the blue one works with both CFG and Gecko OS.
