Hello all!

So I have a little problem which should be easily fixable, but it's proving rather annoying.
Essentially, one of my favorite aspects of brawl hacking is the ability to change the music within the game. That process works perfectly, and I can even create and custom loop my own BRSTM's, but something I've always wanted to do was edit the song title that appear within the game to match my new songs. I've discovered that it's possible to do this for the important sections (In-fight on stage, My music menu) but to do so I require two specific files - Info_en.pac, and mu_menumain.pac - which I don't have.

To be blunt, I cannot find copies of these files anywhere for the PAL version of the game. NTSC-U are easy to find, but are useless to me. So here's my cry for help:

Does anyone know where to find the PAL version of Info_en.pac, and mu_menumain.pac?

Please note that in the resources section of the Brawl Vault, the PAL Original Files download apparently does not exist anymore.

If it helps with legalities, my copy of Brawl is legal (bought in store like 5-6 years ago), and I use Riivolution to load my game with the edits.

Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!

You can get the files out of the ISO using wiiscrubber. You can use this to get the ISO off your disc.

Oh that's what Wiiscrubber does? Sweet I'll do just that then  Kirby Dance

I have Configurable USB Loader on my wii, which allows me to install games onto my hard drive from the disc. Can I just do that (I'm pretty sure it gives me the ISO, and not a different file type - it's been a while since I used it), or would that be a bad idea and I should just stick to Cleanrip? Also, cleanrip doesn't ruin the disc does it? Like I can still use the disc afterwards right (because I use riivoultion)?

Either one would be fine to use.

Thanks a lot - everything worked perfectly! I didn't even encounter one never-ending black screen after including the Info.pac and mu_menumain.pac, and now I have all the files from the game so I can do whatever with them! I'm not sure what most of them do as I'm not that intelligent about all this sort of stuff, but it's still nice!  Kirby Dance

I don't get it... if the English PAL version of Brawl is exactly the same as the NTSC Brawl, then what's the point of making PAL? (I know there's other places like Spanish Brawl, but the English one makes no sense to create!)

The files aren't all the same in the PAL and NTSC-U versions. Different sizes for the files, some content discrepancies - there enough differences, and if you try to use NTSC-U files for PAL file swaps more often then not the game just freezes and crashes. Biggest example being stage.rel files for me. Just trust me on this - I needed PAL files as I use a PAL disc on a PAL Wii because I'm from a PAL region (although I now live in an NTSC-U region, ironically enough)

Of course I could be completely wrong about all this - I'm just speaking from my experiences  Kirby Dance
