Need vertex help

Hey everyone here i need some help in editing marths hair and make it spikey im using 2010 autodesk 3ds max im at the part where i see the vertex points from there on what do i do in order to ake the hair spikey i tried moving the points assuming it would create spikes i loaded back to brawl box it was still the original hair

Don't listen to him. If he tried it he'd know that it's the hardest way and is almost impossible for anyone.
