When I upload a file to this site, and I add links to the pics, I get three red Xs that link to the file, and on other people's screens I have been told not even red Xs appear. The Xs act as links, but how do I get them to display?

Thats not the point, how come when I upload pics I get red X links to the image. Shouldn't there be a small pic that links to a bigger version?

I use Picasa Web Albumbs... works quite well... you need the image properties to get the link for your image ( R-click and Properties) copy the link from there. you can get differant sizes depending on the image you view eg: Original Size:

Thanks, are you sure this will work?
EDIT: OK, did you have to download it? Cause I did, and It is confusing as heck!
EDIT EDIT: OK, I think you misunderstood me. I have the links working about 50%, because the red Xs link sucsessfully to the bigger image. How to I make the red Xs a smaller version of the image?

I don't understand what you mean by "Red X" is that where the image does not display?? what I did to get the differant sizes is: well just look at the picts... I'm not too good at explaining things...

I am not asking for different sizes, I am asking about how to get the thumbnail to display.

I do this all the time... use a small image as a thumbnail... and link that to a large image BBC sry bout the trouble and frustration
