    Ok  not impressed.

I made a texture for brawl, I put it in the right folder and everything, but the texture doesn't apply in game.
I already have 2 textures in the folder and they work.

    but not this 1.

    Kinda confused why

I usually use the PCS file for any non-transforming characters. Which file type are you using?

That error seems pretty normal. All the files it listed are usually deleted before starting step2 anyway. (Since... all of them are created by step2)

You sure you've got it named to match the correct color?

Usually a texture freezes when it doesn't work. Anyway... upload it and I'll test it out.

Lol I can't believe everyone has missed this.  There is no FitYoshi02, his normal colour is green so there is no FitYoshi02.  Rename it too a different colour.

What a pain, whyd they do that.... oh well thanks.

If anything, it's probably a color code.  Red team textures use 01 (07 for Plumber Wario), Green team textures use 02 (08 for Plumber Wario), and Blue team textures use 03 (09 for Plumber Wario).  If any team battle colors are used as a default outfit, one of the numbers is excluded depending on which team color the default outfit is on.  In that type of dilemma, Fit[Character]06 is used.

The characters that have a team battle color as their default outfit are Mario (Red), Link (Green), Yoshi (Green), Luigi (Green), Ness (Red), Bowser (Green), Diddy Kong (Red), King Dedede (Red), Lucario (Blue), R.O.B. (Red), Toon Link (Green), and Sonic (Blue).

Coincidentally, not only are Lucario and Sonic the only fighters to have their default outfit represent the blue team, they both only have 5 recolors.

Actually Lucario's default costume doesn't represent the blue team, he's got a Blue costume (not much diff though).
