    Hey all, xxmasal22xx here.

    Ok, so last night i was playing brawl, and was like "i need to come up with an idea to spice things up a bit" I then got an EPIC idea for the CSS.

    I was wondering if it would be possible to have a THP playing in the background of the CSS showing gameplay or final the smash of whatever character you scroll over.

    For example:
    Let's say I'm on the CSS and scroll over Lucario. A THP would then play in the background of Lucario performing his final smash. However, it would be semi-transparent.

    This would truly be an AMAZING accomplishment!

    So is any of that at all possible?

    Please respond ASAP.

    As awesome an Idea as it is, it would most likely kill the filesize, and the game isn't programmed to do it in the first place, so it would require so much work just to find out it wouldn't work in the first place.

    As awesome an Idea as it is, it would most likely kill the filesize, and the game isn't programmed to do it in the first place, so it would require so much work just to find out it wouldn't work in the first place.

    Aww damn! although, with Riivoluion, doesn't the CSS have unlimited file size? It could work like that....Just put the THP's in the CSS .pac file....

    I think your misunderstanding the way Riivolution works (Either that, or I misunderstand it... >.>)

    Riivolution has "unlimited" space when it comes to loading one thing at a time. For example, with riivolution, you can replace sound effects because it does it "on the fly," meaning that the moment you need it, it will be loaded. Otherwise, it will remain unloaded on the SD card.

    Similar thing with the CSS. It can be overloaded with Riivolution, but it's information isn't loaded until needed.

    And thiowing a THP into the CSS wont magically make it "work".

    So, in order for me to even get ONE csp to do what i want, what would i have to do?

    Replace the CSP in the sc_selchar.pac?

    How do i replace it with a THP? It will only let me replace with an image

    Do you mean replacing the background at the CSS?

    Or the CSPs? sc_selchar is fairly limited in size... I'd think that even deleting every other CSP and then adding a THP as a single CSP would cause it to exceed the file size limit...

    Why would you want a whole movie just as a CSP anyways? Or are you trying to recreate what Super Smash Bros 64 did?

    YESH! It would be nice to have something where the characters do a move when you select them and instead of CSP's have it so that it rotates around the character....something almost exactly like that.

    If it was possible now, I'd probably go for GIFs, not THPs.

    I don't think Brawl can support it, but what do I know. There are some Brawl wizards out there who seem to be able to do... magic...

    Lol, how would i even start? just delete all the csp's and take a few months to make rotating animationd for EVERY character?

    on second thought, brawl characters have the same bones...one rotating animation ported to every character......

    Can someone make the animation? all it has to be it the character spinning slowly.
