confused about changing CSPs...

   i done with trying to figure this out so ill ask.

if i change CSPs and all portraits to a character, can i only see the changes by using Riivolution?

or can i just use gecko and im just doing it wrong?

from your common5 extract the selcharacter and place in private/wii/apps/rsbe/pfmenu2.
dont make folder called menu2 in pf - the file patch code has this glitch.

open the sc_selchar.pac in brawl box search till u find the portrits u want to change and replace them, save ur changes an place the edited sc_selchar.pac in:

private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/menu2/

edit: private/wii/app/RSBE/pfmenu2/ is for a different file for the main menu stuff not the char select screen. use the above directory in red

Rather than start a new thread, wondering if anyone can help with my CSP problem.

I had them working on Gecko by changing the sc_selcharacter.pac. But have switched to riivolution, the CSPs do not show when I use sc_selchar or sc_selchar_en so i tried with common5.pac (and with _en) but still nothing. I have the same folder setup as when i used gecko, can anyone help?

depends on ur xml file i know theres one that works like gecko floating around and another that works on the filepath of the iso. either way u need the common5_en.pac. edit the pics in that file also disable the selchar.pac u have with gecko. they can conflict when they load
