I need help on SSE because when i start a new SSE profile the movie will play (it has custom music) and I select either mario or Kirby, but then it freezes after my selection. i know its not the characters because I tested them in normal brawl and they worked  Does anyone have any reason for this or help for me? Also, the movie isnt a custom movie, its the original one with custom music. Thanks beforehand (if I get help  ) |

If you are using an iso SSE doesnt work for isos. Or you music mught be currupted

actually that's wrong i use an iso with wii scrubber since my Wii won't play discs and it doesn't give me any issues. likely its something that is corrupted. |

It could be certain textures. For example, Old Viewtiful Joe used to freeze on SSE but not in a Brawl, and the new one doesn't cause it has a smaller file size. It could be file sizes.

Hmmm ill try the viewtiful joe things because I have him. Also, i have another problem that just popped up and for some reason at any CSS my game freezes.

NVM About the CSS thing but the SSE still freezes. Its not Viewtiful Joe because I got the new version but it still freezes

I wasn't saying it's him, I'm saying it could be a character's file size, or a corrupted texture.

CHECK THE COMPRESSION OF TEXTURES.
The characters costume.pac should NEVER BE COMPRESSED OR it will FREEZE IN TRAINING MODE/SSE.

@EternalYoshi: What do you mean by "compressed"? Also it doesnt freeze my training mode.
@zigheart:i cant remember which really doesnt help the situation. Thats bad 4 me
Im going to try to remove the music and see if it works.

if nothing else u can go down the list of chars and rename the fighter folders one at a time so it doesn't load the hacks. that way u can find the char that is giving u issues

Okay zigheart, Ill do that. Itll take awhile but if it fixes it, it is okay.
Also, I know its not the music because I took out the one that plays during it and it still froze. Ill report back later if it freezes.
