Questions about zero suit special

If you have a character import over Samus, and you use Zero suit samus' final smash, will the game crash because the original character isn't there? Will it crash the other way around? Is this possible to prevent? Because I want to replace Samus with someone, but I don't want the game to crash if I use Zero suit's final smash to transform.
