Stages Freezing

Half the stages i download off this site freeze when i try to play them, its not the unpopular ones that do it either. its the badass ones you see on youtube...
Ive gotten other stage hacks to work, but there are many that just crash my wii (like Peaches Castle over Jungle Japes)
HelP??

Are you using a PAL game or a NTSC one?

Also, say which stages have you tested over which slots and which of them worked and which not.

Im using NSTC
-Sacred Realm over Battle Field by LenSho Didnt work at first, re downloaded and worked

-Woodfall Village over Smashville by rihuganon worked at first, but when i deleted it and re downloaded it freezes

-Ganondorfs Tower over Final Destination has always worked

-I've never been able to get Peaches Castle over Jungle Japes to work :p

i can get a hack over every stage (except Norfair) its just all the ones i want cause freezing.. i was thinking maybe something gets messed up in the downloading process.

I don't think the problem is with downloading. It would be more possible an sd issue, in which placing the stage once again into it, now it works.

Try emptying the SD, formatting it, and restoring everything into the sd once again. It may be something with the filesystem.

If still doesn't work, try the peach's castle in the 'no courtyard' folder. It's smaller in size and should be less troublesome.

could it be because im loading hacks from gecko instead of Riivolution?

I use USBLoader, but it's theoretically the same as gecko in terms of ocarina codes and file replacement.

Have you tested other jungle japes based stages?

yea Whirl Islands over jungle japes by LenSho works just fine,
someone told me to try Riivolution,
could you explain how you use USBloader? i thought that was to play games off SD cards

You would need an USB, either a hard disk drive or just a pendrive, and insert it in the lower usb port in the wii.

You would need to use the usbloader to make a copy of your iso and save it into your usb unit, or just save the iso into the usb via pc. Some loaders use a special partition which isn't fat or ntfs, but 'wbfs'. And others can just use iso files in fat or ntfs filesystems. A good loader would be 'USBLoader CFG'.

In the program, there are some options, one of them enables ocarina codes. The rest is just like gecko, only that you don't use DVDs for games, but a single usb drive with all the games you want.

About jungle japes and such, did you try the 'no courtyard' version of peach's castle?

you have a wierd problem freezing on just a texture is wierd i can only think of 2 problems that it might be

1.you have an .rel
2.you have a code

if none of those then i dont know
