    I have searched on google and yahoo and haven't found a download of either ntcompress.exe and textconv.exe for free, I really need them so I can start texture hacking (I already have everything else I need)
    Can someone please send me a Private message with a download link for ntcompress.exe and textconv.exe  :'(

    That isn't the "hint."

    I can't really say much, but look around the area in the Noob Guide where it says you can find it.
