Recently, my Wii broke from general use, so I found Dolphin as an alternative. However, will I be able to use codes (e.g. "Individual character has no entry/result" codes) with it? I used to use Gecko, so I have many .rel ported characters that require codes.

It would probably be quicker to get a new wii than replace every file in the iso but yes Dolphin can use codes. Right click on the game > Properties > Gecko Codes.

Thanks! Also, are the modifications made to the ISO permanent if you use Dolphin?

I see the trade-off here. With Dolphin, it's a royal pain to configure, but once you've got it down, it's there for good, whereas with Gecko, it's easy to use, but not permanent. Thanks! Also, will I have to put in the codes every time I play Brawl on Dolphin? And could you also point me to some tutorials on how to use WiiScrubber?

The codes stay on between plays in Dolphin. This is the best WiiScrubber tutorial I could find, basically you just put the files in the iso where they are in the folders on your SD card but it takes ages.

The File Patch Code is also compatible with the Dolphin Emulator. However, you do need a program, such as WinImage, in order to create an SD card file to use.

Will I need every single file from the data partition or do I only have to replace the files I want to replace?

Just replace the files that you had replaced on your SD card.
