Need help with the Black Screen of death right after start up.

The problem I'm having is that right when I launch from Riivolution 1.5 it gives me the common frozen black screen. I assume it's probably a simple fix so I'll just ask a few questions right off the bat.
1. Could it be because I might've not had the correct name for my hacks? If so I recently downloaded the ISO so that could help that easily with the file names.
2. Could it be the codes? I personally don't know which codes to use from looking at the long list of them for Brawl so I just use the one's I've gotten from F1nk's post along with my Brawl+ codes.
3. Could it have been from the sound effects I was trying to add in? I didn't think it would be as it was only the Goku sound effects and I made sure to use Sawndz.

For further help I'm going to try and upload some screenshots of my layout of how my SD Card looks like. I'm currently running 4.3U on my US Wii, I've had homebrew channel and such downloaded before from smashstack. I'm  coming from Gecko 1.931 and I don't want to use Riivolution for Gecko users as I'd like to add my own music along with sound effects. The Riivolution I currently have is 1.05. Now I really don't want to delete everything off my SD card and start anew but, if I have to I don't mind biting the bullet. For the XML file I use SSBBfiles from tjmsrubegoldberg's guide. Now as for the pictures.

This is my layout instead of the ssbb folder I see here and there. Though in my point of view seems everyone has their own custom layout.

The Riivolution code is one that has been in there ever since I went with Brawl+ not sure if I should just delete it or not so I just left it there.

Again wasn't sure on file names so I just went ahead and added _en to them.

Now it worked fine, besides small errors here and there, when I played my hacks on Gecko but, again I'd really like to switch to Riivolution and be able to do everything to adding music and sound effects to making insane characters. Now I hope this enough to get me through this. I've been working on this for about a day now and no luck so figured best time to ask for help. If needing anything else please don't hesitate to ask and I'll accommodate. Thanks for anyone that can help and hope to get to hacking with everyone!

a few things might be the problem

1) your .brsar
2) info.pac
3)common3.pac
4)common5.pac

Switch to beyonds riivolution. The setup for that is effortless and you shouldn't run into any issues.

Be sure to remove the file patch code from your codes using code manager. You won't even have to change the directory for your files.

Okay, don't know what I was thinking when I thought I couldn't add SFX or music with his.. must've read it wrong. Just have to insert my CSS's and what not into common5. Anyways, I've already tried his and I'm positive it doesn't have the file patch code with it. Still did the same thing so I'm pretty sure it's something to do with my other files possibly the one's mentioned above by SonicBrawler.

Now the thing with those files is I removed the .brsar and tried it again. Same thing happened. As for the common's I haven't messed with them or touched them at all from using Brawl+. With the info I've added in a couple of them not sure if that's the problem but, I don't know. Also with the .brsar it's in the sound folder next to the strm folder. It's also named smashbros_sound.brsar so not sure if that could be a problem thought I would ask. Also I have added a few strm's.

Shared them so it might help. I'll mess around with the files SB suggested and see if any luck. Thanks for the help. Anymore suggestions would be appreciated greatly. ^^

I renamed the files according to the brawl ISO nothing changed except when I was using just Riivolution and not beyonds it went to the strap and then froze. When I switched to Beyonds it went back to black screening when I launched from Riivolution. So now I'll say I'm officially stumped. Considering just clearing my sd card and starting from scratch not sure if that'd help the problem or make it worse. For now though I'll wait. o3o

Lets try a different approach.

Copy this to the root of your sd (obviously unzip it 1st)

and add your pf files to the correct directory.

X://private/wii/app/rsbe/pf

then try it.

also be sure you TURN OFF MY CODES that don't make sense to you.

Use code manager and remove things like
