I had been sitting on this code for a while... I had completely forgotten about it up until today. And well... it's far from "complete" (it's sloppily made, uses a gecko register, and only affects player 1's G&W, and only if it is the first character loaded).

Hehe, thanks for letting me test out the code. ^^

And yeah, it is amazing. I was going try taking a snapshot, but I was afraid the Wii would freeze, and if it froze, I wouldn't be able to show off more of the hack, so yeah. :/

I didn't find any other side effects yet, by the way, but if I do, I'll inform you.

As far as playing normal brawls go, it shouldn't really affect anything.

I'm almost positive that area in memory is reserved for character textures alone. (That said... I never checked the memory outside of normal brawl --- that includes 1 player, special brawls, and any of the other menus)

Ah, I think a side effect may be my music corruption- because when I booted up Brawl a little while ago, I discovered that my Bridge of Eldin's my music was corrupted (bleh, Vs. Meta Ridley does not fit there >_>). Then again, that may also be from music-modding and such, since I'm heavy on that, so I'm not 100% sure if it was from the G&W code or other codes I've used, but I'm informing you about this just in case.

Did anyone else try this code? If so, did you come across any weird side effects?
