No portraits code PM

I think I had previously posted this in the wrong section, so I am going to try again :P

I tried adding the no battle portrait code, but it seems to do nothing in any pm build.
I really like the clean look the screen gets when I use this code.
Any way for it to function with PM? I am trying to use it with Project M D.I.Y
